Just a reminder that tomorrow is Staff Development Day, where staff will be undertaking a number of professional learning activities including learning more about the Departments new planning process for our schools future school improvement plan (for 2021 and beyond) through a livestream with the Minister, Secretary and Deputy Secretary. We will also be engaging in interactive panel tips an...d tricks to get the most out of these updated and valuable classroom resources. Staff will be meeting as teams to finalise the terms teaching and learning plans and we also have a session refining our understanding of brain development, with practical brain gym activities that teachers can incorporate in their programs. Students return to school on Tuesday 21 July for face to face learning. We will continue the same procedures for entering and exiting the school as, at this stage, all additional adults are restricted from entering school grounds. This includes the staggered dismissal times. Please practice social distancing and depart the drop off and pick up points promptly. We also will be continuing with all the safety and hygiene measures implemented in Term 2, including regular handwashing and the use of hand sanitiser. You will be aware that our school is located in one of the areas identified as a COVID-19 hotspot. If your child feels unwell they are asked to stay at home from school. If your child has been onsite to any of the identified locations with known cases, you are asked to look closely for any symptoms, get your child / family tested and remain in isolation for 14 days, even with a negative test result. If your child is being tested for COVID-19, please contact the school. We also encourage any of our families to contact the school tomorrow if you wish to discuss the individual health care needs of your child. We look forward to the happy return of our students for Term 3 on Tuesday! Thank you for your continued cooperation. Vicki Craze Principal

17.01.2022 Phase 1 Return Continues Good evening families Last week we commenced our staggered return to school. It was wonderful to see so many of our students back on their allocated day. This week will be a repeat of last week, with students attending on the same school day. The school remains open for children of essential workers and those who need to attend everyday. The same drop off and pick up procedures will be in place. We request that parents and carers still remain outside ...of the school fences or on the grassed area near the hall (in the afternoons). Please phone or email the school if we can assist with anything. We are currently waiting on further direction from the Premier and Department about the return of students in Week 5, commencing Monday 25 May. We will communicate that organisation as soon as it is in hand. We cant thank our community enough for their ongoing support. We look forward to seeing your children throughout the week! See more
