25.01.2022 Repair works to Dubbo Gully Bridge are programmed for 17 to 29 October 2016. These works will restore the load rating of the bridge to 20 tonnes (removing the current 3 tonne load restriction). While the bridge is being repaired it will not be passable by any traffic (vehicular or pedestrian). Signage advising of the temporary closure will be placed at the Dubbo Gully gate.

14.01.2022 MISSING: 1-year-old, German short-haired pointer named Lexi from the Lutana road/Grants road Somersby area. Went missing around 9.30pm last night (Saturday 22nd) after some fireworks that were going off in Somersby. She is wearing a purple collar and her name tag has broken off but she is microchipped. She has a brown spot over the top of her tail and her tail has a white tip. We are very worried as it is totally out of character for her to not come home. About 8 vehicles proceeded down Waratah Road after a briefing in the car park at the Mangrove Mountain shops. These included a paddy wagon and an RSPCA vehicle. She is black, quite petite and microchipped. Has a scar under her front arm from recent run in with a collar. Please let us know if anyone spots her. Maybe in the Wisemans Ferry Road area near the crossroads as a black cat was spotted walking alongside the road on Thursday morning 16 Feb around 9.30am.
