24.01.2022 Nearing completion of the MacMasters Beach bathroom Reno. Just needing some finished painting. Plumbing and electrical fitoff and the shower screen installed. Such a nice change and a huge difference to what was originally there and we removed

23.01.2022 Finished cedar lined entry door. Fitted into a hardwood frame system with a frosted glass louvre sidelight. The black handle against the timber grain is awesome!

20.01.2022 Throw back to a set of stairs I worked on about 18months ago. It was about 12 months in the making this set and combined a lot of different materials. I was lucky enough to be working for Glen Cochran who put me through my apprenticeship when I worked in these. Starting with two vertical concrete walls and going onto polished concrete steps, steel plate box and landing area, onto some T section steel verticals to support the glass and roller shutters. We used 285x 80mm grey ironbark timber’s with stainless steel dowels glued into the end then core drilled and glued to the walls forming the cantilevered treads. Following installation a template was sent off for the glass balustrading. This would have to be one of my most proud jobs I have ever done and good to go back last week a be able to take some finish shots.

19.01.2022 Gyprock in at Killcare Heights

17.01.2022 Big day today getting the main slab poured. 147 cubic metres of concrete went it. Huge praise for everyone involved in getting it done. There’s always a lot more then expected in a slab like this one. A smooth and trouble free pour today was the result Of many hard hours getting it right and ready from day 1. Smiles all round this afternoon after this. Back to it tomorrow stripping formwork and setting out for bricks, block work and structural steel.

17.01.2022 Small deck we finished just in time for Christmas. Replaced all the old rotten decking and under height handrail. With new Qld Spotted Gum decking. New Treated pine posts and hand rail capping with colorbond fencing panels in between.

17.01.2022 The end result very close for the Killcare job. Final clean and paint touch up. Throw back to some photos of major white ant damage a few months back and this is the final result from major remedial work. Proud to be able to produce finishes like this.

15.01.2022 X-ray room all but complete at Kincumber Dental Care. XRay machine enroute from Europe and due early Feb.

15.01.2022 Curved concrete seat and fireplace base. Can just imagine the crisp winter nights with the fire on or the warm summer nights listening to the ocean. To be rendered and match the style of the home. This will be an awesome outdoor entertaining area.

14.01.2022 XRay room underway at Kincumber Dental Care. Using XBlock Gyprock by Knauf Australia. Setting using GIB X Compound for full X-ray protection to adjoining rooms. No break this year as we get this done during shutdown days and skeleton staff.

13.01.2022 2 hours turns into about 25 seconds putting up the front deck beams.

12.01.2022 Hardwood beams and posts up today with Waters Cranes. Thankfully the rain stayed away and we made some great progress.

06.01.2022 Painting underway at Lymphatic Solutions new clinic in Erina.

06.01.2022 Rozelle renovation. Bathroom nearing completion. Back deck and entertaining area to follow after this.

04.01.2022 Ply just about down ready for sikka Sarnafil roof membrane. There’s something about seeing a roof frame all covered in ply showing the shape of the roof.

03.01.2022 Huge week this week fitting out a new clinic for Lymphatic Solutions at Erina. The huge workout space is essential for a exercise base rehab programs and health Programs in general. On a side note it’s great to see such a huge presence of women’s health emerging on the coast. Having a daughter of my own it’s a comforting thought knowing Healthy Bumps, Physiozest, Lymphatic Solutions and also the new Shift movement promoting sustainable living and nutrition amongst other things are all looking after us!

02.01.2022 First pour for the new year. Only a small 25m cube pour for the garage and front footing today before drop@edge beams are formed up. Main slab pour next week looking like it will go over 100m cube of concrete in one go. Busy year ahead. #redconcretepumps @boralaustralia concrete. #beachfront #architectbuilding
