Well she selfishly knicked off to Greece for a family holiday, snapped a photo of her father and long story short she is in the National Portrait Gallery's Portrait Prize where this captivating image is on display and up for voting in the Peoples choice award. 19.01.2022 Baroque buildings scatter a lot of the streets throughout Sicily. Every town has these brilliant churches in them, even the small towns could have two or three. A great example here is the church of Saint Peter in Modica.

15.01.2022 While the world is still in a holding pattern for the moment, I thought I would take you all on a little holiday to the south coast of Sicily. Back in 2016 I took the @sicilianfoodtours1 trip to Sicily and enjoyed 7 days of food, photos, food, scenic coastline, food, local entertainment, and of course a bit of food. Follow along this week and Carmel and I will show you around.

15.01.2022 MacSnaps Throwback: Like most Victorians, we're missing being outside and equally missing going to the footy. From 2018 when I wandered out to my old footy club, the Thornton-Eildon Shinboners as they competed for the Eildon Cup against the Bonnie Doon Bombers. I wasn't playing so I parked myself on the boundary and enjoyed the footy as the storms rolled across the countryside and the teams played some mud football. **************************************************... 14.01.2022 Quiet suburban streets. It’s fantastic to see

12.01.2022 Disappearing through the southern Sicily countryside, our bus pulled up on a dirt road and we were asked to disembark. We started making our way down this rough dirt road where this Shepherd man came over the crest with his flock in tow. He stopped and greeted us, and then began to sing a song for us, which collectively had the hearts of all the girls on the tour palpitating and skipping beats.

10.01.2022 One of those classic Melbourne winter days.

10.01.2022 Sicily. If you don’t know it, it’s the ball at the bottom of the boot of Italy when you’re looking at the map. The country is full of such great culture, heritage, old buildings, and plenty of old Sicilian men and women who wander around all the towns, with such great character in their faces and personality. So we spent most of the week there finding these characters all around the towns, who were more than willing to let us photograph them.

07.01.2022 With the NHL playoffs on and me consuming a lot of hockey right now (what else is there to do) I was craving some goodies from my time living in the great white north. Nanaimo bars is the sweet treat of Canada, named after the town on Vancouver Island. There are many different recipes for it, but in 1986 they settled on the official recipe with a competition. The base is made of Graham crackers, cocoa, chopped almonds and coconut. The middle layer is a creamed custard and then topped with a chocolate layer. It is all sorts of delicious and great with your arvo cuppa.

06.01.2022 Some good Friday feels here at MacSnaps HQ with my biggest print to date heading out to Lee. He wanted it big, so we got it big at 1.5m wide. HUGE! Just remember, if you see any of my landscape shots that you like feel free to get in touch and we can print to any size.
