25.01.2022 Back to the 60’s Music Event A fund raiser for Lancefield Dreaming, ‘A Modern Opera in Film’, a documentary, about our beautiful town Lancefield, being made by Harry Nanos, Mike Jones and Paul Carter Guest Artists are: Joey Amenta, Harry Jon Nanos & Donna Fisk - For the first time, we will be screening the trailer to this exciting venture. - Bargains: There will be a silent auction of works etc., donated for the cause.... - Plus, a little bit of Karaoke for those who love to sing the songs of the 60’s. - Dress up in your 60’s gear and join the party. - More Music, More Stories and More Laughs. - Funds raised on the evening will go towards the costs of making the film. - All artist musicians, helpers & MAD Gallery are donating their services free. 16.01.2022 MAD Gallery: Take-away Coffee Cups At MAD Gallery we have changed our take-away coffee cups to ecologically friendly Biopak BioCup Art Series: The artwork on the cups features artists from Australia and New Zealand; the images are changed every three months. BioCups are made from paper sourced from managed plantations and coated with Ingeo. The bioplastic lids are also made from Ingeo. Ingeo is a commercially compostable bioplastic made from rapidly renewable plant-based resources (not oil). Only soy and water-based inks are used. The related CO2 emissions are 75% less than those for conventionally manufactured products. These products provide an option to divert waste from landfill wherever commercial compost facilities are available.
