24.01.2022 Oh yes, we are all in a strange new world, and we all seem to be coping and adjusting to the daily changes! We have totally locked ourselves in at home, my grandkids made me realise that I am an ‘oldie’ at risk! They are lovely though and bring us food and blow us kisses! A lovely customer, Judi asked me to make some face masks for her. I was apprehensive at first, as at that time they were saying that they were of no protection at all. But now the health authorities ar...e encouraging us to make our own, though there is still some controversy! Anyway I had time on my hands and lots of fabric pieces so here they are - I have put a soft wire lining around the nose area so that it can be moulded in and hopefully prevent the fogging of the glasses! They are $15 each! If you are into them please just give me a call! They are pretty AND you don’t have to wear makeup! Stay well and be happy! Regards Sharon See more

24.01.2022 People often tell me they’d like to learn to sew. Well here’s your chance! Learn to sew with me and the lovely ladies of the CWA, we have commenced lessons each Wednesday and the CWA house in Main Street, Palmwoods from 9.30am to 12.30. Its $6 for non members, how good is that! Just come along or phone me on 0490 189666 if you have any inquiries. It’s a whole lot of fun!

23.01.2022 To all my valued customers, I know that the coronavirus is top of mind for most of us, and whilst I am in the position of working from home, I know we should all be careful and abide from the ‘social distancing’ advice. So I feel that the best we can do is take a step back and take the time to enjoy our garden, quiet space and relax a little! A lot to be said for that! But if you have any alterations or hems or whatever that you need and can’t live without, I am here and happy to help if possible. No fittings though,please, but please call me and we can work something out! Meanwhile take care and let’s get through this testing time as best possible! I just keep taking photos of my garden! 02.01.2022 I’m thinking it must be time to get back into action! Prime minister Scott tells us we should get back to work, be that we must still take care to social distance, and clean, clean , clean!!! In any case I am done with housework and the veggie garden is all planted up and I am over Netflix etc! Though we haven’t really been needing to wear clothes apart from our jamas and our tracky daks, apart from that exciting day when we get to take out the bins! But if you do have any sewing jobs pending, please give me a call or pop around anytime. I am just about always at home these days and you just might save me from total boredom or more importantly prevent me from killing my husband! Ciao Sharon
