21.01.2022 Meet Madame Boobie a cheeky name for our friend Kelly. I crossed paths with this legend when she was in the first few months of her chemo whilst bravely dropping off her son to our home. As a mum, she just needed to say hello (despite her nausea) as we had not met. At this time, It clicked that a friend had told her about the Madame Foodie Broth and from that day she received it every month and it became her daily ritual 8 months later she skipped into our home on the oth...er side of chemo looking just as beautiful when I had first met her but beaming with happiness, health and strength! This cancer warrior is a survivor, a nurse and offers a hilarious dry sense of humour, you want her by your side for this unknown journey. Kelly will be joining us tomorrow at the Hub running the prizes/raffles to raise money for Breast Cancer. Come up for a chat especially our breast cancer warriors, Kelly is your backbone of knowledge, your cheer squad and has the understanding of the day by day challenges see you tomorrow 8-1pm .. can’t wait! 12.01.2022 Women inspire me All. The. Time! One woman in particular this week through our healthy challenge (she prefers to be kept confidential).. but I can share these facts .. lost 11kgs in 8 weeks 9kgs of body fat and 51cm of her body (arms, hips, thighs, abdomen, butt). This inspiring chick made up her mind to make a change and the timing was perfect. Bloody proud the best part .. she can’t believe our food is healthy (asked me if it was really legit ) as it tastes so good! And new habits have been established to maintain the results the best!

09.01.2022 Let’s talk about animal fat! We’ve just cooked this cracking at home as it’s our families favorite part of the pork roast. Most people throw this part out as they don’t want to eat fat! Let’s be honest, it does not look too appealing when raw ... However, here is why you should eat small amounts of animal fat in your week - It contains many minerals inc the B family (more energy) - The small amount of fat will make you feel full - Its one of the highest forms of protein and good fat for you - Helps witch muscle repair and recovery In our upcoming challenge, we focus on carbs, fats and proteins.. especially good fats that help with general health and wellness ... who would have thought!
