19.01.2022 To Our Beautiful Guests (and said with a heavy heart) We are Temporarily CLOSED (we were closed before we were even able to open again)... As instructed by Dan Andrews on Monday 3rd August, hairdressing and a multitude of other businesses have been forced to close due to the rising numbers of Covid-19 being present through community transmission in the Melbourne Metro area. I know this is a frustrating and worrying time for everyone right now, but hang in there - we can do this - even with feral hair. We will be in touch to reschedule appointments from the 31st August. 15.01.2022 Iso has brought many different emotions to different people across the globe, thankfully Im 99% smiley most of the time, so I chose this pivotal moment to do something positive and uplifting. One thing that Ive come to realise through this experience is that the people in your life and community matter. Being a self confessed workaholic, this pause in time has allowed me the freedom to reconnect with loved ones and that has been truly wonderful. I have some amazing friends ...around the world and I am thankful for their friendship and to have them in my life, you all know who you are So over the past 7 weeks, apart from chatting and eating way more than normal Ive been renovating the salon....this has been a huge undertaking but also extremely rewarding. The walls have been painted and the floor revarnished. New electrics put in as they were sorely needed, and a ceiling pulled down and restored. Old furniture sold and new to be brought in and hairdressing chairs lovingly reupholstered. As directed by Dan Andrews on July 7th, Madam Frou Frou Hair & Beauty will be closed from 8pm Wednesday 8th of July for a period of 1 month Our Hairdressing salon will be OPEN from Wednesday 5th August & our Beauty salon will be OPEN from Thursday 20th August.... Although hairdressing salons can still operate, and this has not been an easy decision to make, we feel that we cannot compromise on our ethics regarding client, staff, and community safety, and this is why we are closing for 1 month. Hopefully the rate of spread and infection will decline throughout this period to allow us to recommence with hairdressing services, however, this may be subject to change and is wholly dependant on current covid19 cases at that time. All future appointments from the 5th August will be kept in place, and our online booking facility can be accessed through our website and instagram pages to allow future appointments to be made from 5th August. We thank you for your understanding and continued support in these trying times.
