25.01.2022 "THE LAST PIECE" Rule in Vietnam cuisine If you share a meal with a group of Vietnamese, you might notice that we often leave the last piece on the dish until someone picks it up for someone else. Lots of people misunderstand this habit as a waste of food in the modern time. In fact, this unspoken rule origins from the old days when we didnt have enough food and everyone cared for others by sharing food with them. ... Therefore, the last piece on the dish is actually left for anyone in the table has not eaten yet or has not been full yet. Usually, the last piece will be saved for the oldest, the youngest or the one who is not as healthy as others in the table to show respect and love In other countries, the last piece represents for the face which can tell others about ones personality. 24.01.2022 Weve got feedback from some of our dear customers that Pho tastes definitely better with pho noodles because it creates a more flavourful fatty taste while others would prefer mi (egg noodles) or vermicelli simply because it looks less. You might have heard about Ha Long Bay and even visited it once, but for our dear friends, who may not know about it yet, there are things that will surprise you.... Ha Long means "descending dragon" . The legend tells that a dragon and her children descended from heaven to defend the Viet people from invaders, spraying fire and emeralds or jade.
