23.01.2022 Working on our Pull Ups this morning!! Kayla’s focus on this exercise is strengthening back muscles including her arms and shoulders. We are also focusing on keeping her core engaged to create smooth, controlled reps without any swing through her movement. Kayla has been training with MadBodz for only two weeks now and is loving her sessions with already seeing small improvements! ... Well done @kayla.rochester keep at it you’re doing great!



22.01.2022 Smashing out goals while gyms are closed! - A lot of the time people look at the things they can’t do as a negative and get disheartened by this! If you can do everything you have nothing to work towards, you should look at things you can’t do as a challenge and something to work towards to show growth and development through your training and something to achieve! ... It’s always great to find a new exercise you can’t do, this then can re-ignite your passion to achieve new goals and keep up your training!

13.01.2022 Six weeks ago I starting training a new client who’s goal was strength and hypertrophy training! In only 6 weeks we have seen a massive difference and Lindsey is feeling so much stronger, not only does he feel better training but also higher energy levels throughout his day!! 6 weeks ago Lindsey could chest press 17.5kg DB for 10 reps and today he pressed 30kg DB for 8 reps! Well done Lindsey, keep up the great work!!

12.01.2022 Unfortunately due to Covid-19 gyms have had to close their doors!! But on the bright side there are still alternative options for health and fitness!! As my PT clients know and now I am offering to anyone I have a home/outdoor gym available for one-on-one PT at a reasonable price! 07.01.2022 A couple of MadBodz boot campers trying out the bosu ball squat! This exercise is a lot trickier than it may look! Completing the squat you are getting your normal squat benefits of strengthening the quads, hamstrings, glutes ect. ... By adding the difficulty of having you balance on the bosu ball now your engaging you’re core a lot more and practicing balance. A couple quick tips if you want to complete this exercise on your own! 1- If you don’t feel confident on unstable surfaces regress the movement to start then slowly progress (tip the bosu ball over or complete the movement next to something you can hold to balance) 2- Focus your vision on one still spot to improve balance, focus on your breath work through each rep! 3- To progress this movement you can; Add weights or close your eyes! When your eyes are closed you will notice your core having to work a lot harder to stay controlled! #madbodzfitness #madbodz #plusfitness #plusfitness247 #mcgrathshillplusfitness
