25.01.2022 Little Bit of tinkering this week

25.01.2022 The most common question we are asked is how hard wraps are to remove. The truth to this answer comes down to how the vehicle has been cared for and how long it... has been on the car. My daily driver is in the sun all day and it gets a wash every few weeks. Unguaraged cars we believe should have horizontal surfaces (bonnet, bootlid and roof) re wrapped annually on cars with a lot of sun exposure. Although on garaged cars I have seen vinyl in very good condition after 3+ years. Having wrapped this in October of last year it was overdue for replacement. Fortunately the Avery Supreme wrap vinyl was very easy to remove, it even came off in one piece. It did leave some glue behind, but this was easily removed with some citrus based solvent. Overall time for removal approx 45 minutes.
