25.01.2022 Happy New Year to all :) We had another big night of Karaoke last night out West for us, this time we were at the Narrawong Holiday Park near Portland to help bring in the new year for all the campers there. The night was full of singers of all ages who all joined in the fun and had a great time. Big thank you to everyone who came along and sang, danced and enjoyed the night with us. We had a great time and enjoyed some wonderful hospitality and met some top people along the way. Big thanks to Troy and the team at the park who looked after us during our stay, we hope to see you all again one day.. Cheers Dave :)

25.01.2022 Had a great night last night, we were upstairs at the Whalers hotel in Warrnambool celebrating the Brauer College 74 to 79 class re-union. Got into the swing with a bit of Karaoke and many dance hits from the era. Had a great time revisiting all the hits from back in the days of Abba, Skyhooks, Sherbet, KC& the Sunshine band, Cold Chisel, AC/DC, Count Down, and many more.....all the classics :) Big thanks to Sandy and the team for having us along, glad you had a great time :) Cheers :)

22.01.2022 Congratulations and best wishes to Mereanna and Rico, who tied the knot in Princetown at Camp Kangeroobie yesterday. Over 100 guest and visitors from as far as New Zealand and Europe came to celebrate the occasion. Although the weather was not the kindest, it was more than made up for with great hospitality and a fun crew on the night. Thank you for booking with us to help your special day, it was a pleasure.. 22.01.2022 Proud of the effort the Youth Taking Action group put in tonight with the talent quest they organised and ran at Cobden Civic Hall. Not a bad effort when they are all young people still in school. They helped run the night from start to finish and did the majority of the leg work before hand including getting sponsors, making posters, doing the advertising, hall hire, organising the talent for the night, brochures, lighting, food & drink for the guests, do the MC work, set up and pack down and more.. Got a good turn out and great feedback from the locals too so well done, a great effort for all concerned. Thanks for having us along to do the sound for your night - well done to all !!

20.01.2022 Spent last night providing the MCing and DJ work for Maddy and Stewarts wedding reception in Hamilton. Fantastic venue at the HIRL centre with great country hospitality and a fun and welcoming couple. A top team effort by everyone from the helpers to the great catering job all joined to make the night a winner. Thanks to those who came up and said they really enjoyed my work and the music, great to hear, and thanks again to Maddy & Stewart for having us along to share their special day.. Cheers :)

10.01.2022 Hi All, Been having a bit of a think today about the idea of putting together a Cobden "After Covid" Community party bash, Im thinking a hall or similar type local venue, great party music, a few laughs, dancing, a few drinks, a few mates and just celebrate the end of isolation together as a community and party together hey !! Im happy to donate my DJ gear, lights and time etc so we can just unwind & celebrate the end of this lock down business together !!. Naturally i dont have a date yet but just thinking ahead till when we are finally all allowed outside to "play again"...ha,ha,ha. Just putting the idea out there folks - What do you think Cobden?

07.01.2022 Big night last night at the Warrnambool Racing Club doing the MC and DJing for Nick & Tennilles wedding reception. Around 100 guests came along to enjoy the night and celebrate the happy occasion. Lots of positive feedback about the night and the music in general, which was great to hear. 05.01.2022 It was great to be asked to do the music and announcements for Christmas On Curdie St at Cobden again this year. The weather was kind to us, and there was a good crowd out enjoying the events in the main st and celebrating Christmas together. A huge "well done and congratulations" goes to Kelvin White and Barb Cowley in particular, who put in countless hours organising the event, and doing the leg work from go to whoa to put it all together... Fantastic job guys, well done :...) Thanks also goes to the local business, individuals, sponsors, and groups like the Cobden SES, Cobden Fire Brigade etc for their contributions too. It goes without saying that a community night like this would simply not be possible without them . Thanks also to the guys who enjoyed the music and came up to the stage during the night and said they really liked the songs... thats always great to hear :) Cheers and thanks Dave :)
