07.01.2022 Throwing it back to the Byron Bay retreat with @ohflorastudio last year! Im often asked by my floral friends why I bother going to workshops when Im already qualified! Its pretty simple- I never want to stop developing my skills or end up being that florist thats really stuck in their ways. Im always wanting to learn something new or be taught a new way of doing what I already know. Not to mention its always a treat enjoying flowers when Im not working. 02.01.2022 Its been a few months since I made this pretty thing so enjoy another photo of it I also just wanted to ask everyone buying flowers right now to be a little understanding about the difficulty sourcing blooms here in QLD at the moment, and the high cost of the product we can buy. Were still really feeling the effects of covid and prices have skyrocketed to reflect this, whilst wholesalers are also struggling to get product for us to buy in the first place! Things might be more expensive, but I promise your florist is not screwing you over or trying to over charge... good quality flowers are simply expensive at the moment, we cant do anything about it unfortunately. A little understanding goes a long way, and all the florists I know are trying their best to make this work
