This fellowship endorses our passion to support the advancement of women in medical research. The fellowship offers a long- term commitment to funding, combined with a tailored mentorship program.... Total package up to $100,000 per annum for 2 years, with a further performance based 1-year extension option. 19.01.2022 Repost @australianmarrowmatch - This Saturday is the very first Australian Marrow Match (AMM) Awareness Game, a footy match between Lauderdale and North Hobart at Skybus Oval (in TAS). AMM’s aim is to educate people, in particular young men, about their opportunity to save a life by registering to be a potential blood stem cell donor. AMM’s vision is that all Australians who need a life saving bone marrow (stem cell) transplant are able to find a match. 11.01.2022 Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision and the Menzies Institute for Medical Research at the University of Tasmania are thrilled to announce that Ariel Simpson is the successful recipient of the inaugural Alex Gadomski Postgraduate Scholarship in Medical Research. The Scholarship is co-funded by Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision and the University of Tasmania’s College of Health and Medicine, with fundraising from the Live Life Gala Ball and the Bloody Long Run, in honour of Alex Gadomski, who trag...ically lost his life at the age of 21 from bone marrow failure. Alex’s family have mobilised an incredibly generous Tasmanian community, ensuring his legacy is honoured and supports innovative medical research towards finding a cure.
