23.01.2022 Daves 5.7L Hemi Jeep came in for a custom exhaust and tune (thats right, we can remap your Petrol and diesel jeeps!) Twin 2.5 stainless into a single 3 Two Magnaflow Australia high flow stainless cats and Magnaflow muffler. The thing sounds brutal when on the loud pedal but nice and quiet on cruise! Factory tune is well over rich, so we remapped the factory ECU by leaning it out to a more sensible level and adding a bit of timing netting a 10% gain in horsepower.... Thanks to Racetorque Engineering for the use of the AWD dyno as the jeep is constant AWD with a Centre differential and cant go on our 2WD chassis dyno

22.01.2022 Karls D40 Nav came in with a previously done road tune. We checked her over, found it to be pretty low on boost and aggressively rich. Overly rich diesel tunes can cause long term engine damage. Quick tidy up and a much happier car and customer. Few extra ponies were a welcome bonus

19.01.2022 Scotts 08 Rodeo was in for a tune, already packing an HPD front mount and 3 exhaust, we ditched the factory airbox and made a 3 intake with K&N pod filter Followed by custom remapping on our dyno 35% increase in torque... 34% increase in power Still amazes me how well these 4Js respond to a little more boost and a bit more diesel No soot, and a cool intake flutter on gear change Next up will be bigger turbo and bigger injectors

This time our boy from AGD Auto Service Mechanical added a PWR Performance Products intercooler kit and 3 turbo back exhaust Add a little tappy tappy from Maddog Customs laptop and... Solid 30% increase in power and torque. ... Safe to say he feels like we swapped in a much bigger motor. Happy Easter everyone

Simple, cheap insurance when getting your clutch done on your Hilux! Pete's last clutch copped a beating and didnt last very long. with the larger friction plate this one will hopefully last a little longer! 16.01.2022 Kams bog stock, but pretty high km Amarok, came in for a clean up and tune. We went reasonably soft on her but still achieved a 24% increase in power and much better driveability. Drive home reports from Kam says it feels more lively and boost is way less laggy. Enjoy her new lease on life buddy!

15.01.2022 Jeffs DMAX came in for a heap of upgrades to make towing his caravan a lot more pleasant HPD front mount intercooler HPD catch can/oil separator Maddog Customs full 3 Stainless Turbo back exhaust... Custom Dyno Tune/ECU remap. We individually remap each car to suit its modifications and the owners requirements. +36HP +134NM torque On the test drive, the car feels a lot more responsive and drives as it should have been delivered from ISUZU in the first place! #onestopshop

12.01.2022 Long Post Warning: Carbon Clean Testing! We did some back to back testing of the JLM Carbon Cleaning System for on car cleaning of the intake manifold and the results were surprising and rewarding. These sort of up-sells 4x4 shops promote can sometimes feel like snake oil. However carbon build up in the inlet manifold of a late model diesel is a well known fact, primarily due to modern emmision systems, primarily the Exhaust Gas Recirculation system (EGR) and PCV system combi...ning to cause a build up of carbon and sludge on the inside of the manifold. The test subject was a 2016 NP300 Navara turbo diesel. It has covered 100,000km and is 100% stock engine wise. 33" tyres and a 3" lift being the only real mods. No EGR delete has ever been done on the car, and the factory PCV system remains as original for that entire time. A before run was completed on our Mainline chassis dyno, then the car removed from the dyno, Carbon clean performed, the car was then put back on the dyno for the after runs. Several runs were then made to ensure that the air inlet temperatures matched the previous baseline run, as power figures on a commonrail diesel vary significantly depending on the air temp within the inlet. We found a 5hp net gain, with increase in torque over the entire rev range. Overall, on a test drive, the engine feels to be revving soother to boot. Conclusion: A high quality on car carbon clean such as the JLM system can, and will return some of the HP lost through degradation of flow in the inlet manifold caused by carbon build up, and should be considered a solid preventative maintenance before the inlet manifold gets to the point where the far more expensive option of removing the manifold and mechanically cleaning the build up is neccesary.

10.01.2022 Brad was not stoked with his mail order snorkel, so he booked it in for a custom Maddog Customs stainless 4" Snorkel and airbox combo, smoothed and painted 2-pack satin black for his awesome over the top GU. The custom aluminium airbox features a high flow K&N pod filter, easy access drain plug and clear viewing window to keep an eye on filter condition Brads getting a double size top mount intercooler soon, so when his back, we will finish off the installation with a new electronic boost controller install and aluminium intake piping, to clean up the mess of hoses and fittings currently cluttering that corner of the bay

07.01.2022 Ads Patrol was turned up to over 25psi when it came in. A ZD30 living on the edge. We installed a two stage electronic boost controller to drop the boost to a more sensible 18psi for most duties and reliability for his Canning Stock Route trip coming up. We kept the 25 for when his really stuck and needs the extra ponies though Comfortably running at 17:1 AFRs on low boost and an extra 50NM of torque mid range on tap when he needs it at the push of a button

Drives like an animal Nathans Cruiser originally had a Roo chip which is a plug in module that dodges the rail pressure signal to the ECU to increase power.
