18.01.2022 Scotts 300Z was in for its final E85 tune after toasting it’s clutch last time it was on our dyno. The second hand CC twin was not up to the near 750NM torque the VG puts out at 30 pound of boost. We put in a new Direct Clutch Services Twin and strapped her back down for a maximum of 593HP on its GTX 2860s. The gates were likely blowing open as the actuators base pressure is only 11psi. I used to have a Z32 at these levels, and it’s a blast on the street! We’ve actually fl...ex tuned this car, boost is kept at a more sensible 18psi when Scott can’t find the corn juice around and still makes a healthy 450rwhp Have fun buddy! 15.01.2022 Custom turbo install on David Milkov’s JK 3.6L I built a couple of months ago. Completely forgot to show you guys! Garrett G30 Custom Maddog Turbo Manifold Custom 3 dump and screamer, second dump made with plumb back pipe to interchange... 440cc injectors 3 bar map sensor Then I finished it off with a full dyno tune on our Mainline Dyno The G30 is a great match for the motor with pretty instant spool. Only running gate pressure at the moment @7psi. Shows about 5.5 at the manifold Dave wants to send it to 10, I said find a spare motor and we will send it. . Xtreme cushion button clutch STI injectors Link ECU G4+ plugin Maddog Customs Dyno Tyne While the engine was on the stand we also took the time to do the timing belt, water pump and valve cover gaskets as it’s a lot quicker and therefore cheaper to do it while the opportunity presented itself She made 322hp at all 4 wheels on the Mainline AWD chassis dyno on high boost, and a more sensible 247 on low boost on PULP. Pushing over 300 on a stock EJ205 can be risky, but the power is there at the flick of a switch when Hudson’s in the heat of comp and chasing those extra 10ths Changing a series 1 to a series 6 is quite involved, while it bolts in, none of the wiring or sensors match up, and little things like the idle controller change from three wire solenoid to 6-wire stepper motor. 07.01.2022 Added some Carlos bars to Aidan’s cage that I built a few years ago. When speccing a cage, there are always some bars that have to go in during the original construction and others we can add in later. As these are a pretty expensive option due to the cams gussets regs these days we quite happily defer to when you need to go to a higher level of competition. Touched the cage paint up and replaced the broken windscreen while we were at it Also installed a new clutch, bigg...er injectors and doing a touch up dyno tune later in the week All in the service here at MDC!
