25.01.2022 What is your favorite shade of pink? This has got to be mine - I love neon brights but I think Im in a minority. I have 5 siblings and if I asked each of them to choose their favorite shade of pink, we would have 6 different colours - Pink is an interesting and divisive colour if it wasnt so heavily used to brand one particular gender, it might be my favorite colour - but who needs a favorite right??

24.01.2022 A quick little edit of my demonstration piece at yesterdays RESIN ART WORKSHOP - Im still not sure about the pink but sometimes youve just got to mix things up. We have a few spaces available in our next workshop 13th September if youd like to give it a go yourself - its as fun as it looks and perfect for beginners and inexperienced artists!!!

19.01.2022 Monochrome from todays live streamed workshop - not sure its a keeper??? I think a second layer might bring it back from the brink. It was fun to play with resin again this weekend and so great seeing so many people giving the live streamed format a go.

18.01.2022 Supplies are finally starting to arrive, we still dont have everything we need to complete our punch needle kits but we are getting very close. Thank you to everyone who is waiting on a kit - I cant believe how understanding and lovely everyone has been. We really have the very best community of crafters.

18.01.2022 There were a lot of ocean inspired artworks created in our Resin Workshops yesterday - perhaps it was the cold weather and a longing to be somewhere warm and relaxing. We really enjoyed being back in the studio creating with everyone who came along. If youre keen to escape winter for a few hours by creating your own ocean artwork or otherwise inspired artwork we have more dates listed on our website. 17.01.2022 My niece Maybellene asked me to make her something for her birthday - I thought it might take an hour or two - many many more hours later I feel pretty proud of the end result. The slide function needs a little work but otherwise the engineering is pretty sound. daily creative activity

16.01.2022 Introduction to Punch Needle kit & LIVE streamed workshop - book by Friday to receive your kit in time for our next LIVE streamed workshop 2pm Saturday 15 August. Our kit includes a choice of 3 colour ways that can be used for any of the 3 designs included in the kit along with your Oxford punch needle, nonslip hoop and fabric or book all 3 colour sets and make yourself a set.

15.01.2022 I enjoyed my screen printing day so much that I decided to do a little more. On reflection I see that the names may reveal more about my current state of mind than I realised when I choose them??? Im glad I took a creative time out, I feel better for flexing those muscles especially at the moment when our collective anxieties seem to be bubbling back up.

14.01.2022 This little collection was created in our Resin Serving Board Workshop last weekend. We have now listed another class 13th June @ 11am. When you book in we will send you a kit with all the supplies you need and then take you through all the steps in a live streamed workshop via zoom.

12.01.2022 A huge thank you to @bodega1904 who fed us so well at our PUNCH NEEDLE & TAPAS WORKSHOP last night - so delicious that I forgot to take a photo until Id eaten half of it It was a great night with a lovely group of ladies, delicious food and a lovely Chardonnay to help the creativity flow. (Other varietals also on offer but I cant pass up a chardy) Were back in a fortnight for Macrame & meatballs with @floureggswater - still a few spaces available if youre up it.

12.01.2022 I have always loved continuous line drawings so for no reason other than flexing my creative muscles I gave it a go! I thought it could be interesting to Punch Needle or embroider but maybe of someone elses face???

09.01.2022 @patches_mcgee & I were trying to get creative this afternoon with our photography for our upcoming polymer clay decoration workshop @darlingharbour but I’m not sure we nailed it - swipe to see the photo that was our favorite of the day but probably only because it’s so not right! We’ll keep trying (maybe next year ill@do a photography class)

05.01.2022 Our alpaca punch needle kit is a great iso activity for kids or yarn lovers of all ages! This kit comes with everything you need including an adjustable punch needle, pre-stretched monks cloth on a wooden frame, 100% Australian wool yarn and a step by step digital tutorial.

04.01.2022 MACRAWEAVE KIT development - still a way to go before we release this, there is a lot of development work that goes into creating our workshops and kits. Lots of materials sourcing & testing, pattern testing etc. the rope I hoped would work for this is t right and the scale of the design is off BUT its very close now. Would you like to try MACRAWEAVING?

04.01.2022 I have been working on some new PUNCH NEEDLE KITS and Im too excited not to share them because I love them - what do you think??? The only thing Im not sure about is the background colour for the Lorikeet - should I make this a pastel like the others??? Im waiting on a restock of Punch Needles before I can list the kits - there will be limited numbers so Ill try to give plenty of notice before they are listed.

03.01.2022 Sometimes I feel myself getting a little creativity stagnant and the fix is always doing something new, trying a new craft and stretching myself outside of my own comfort zone. Yesterday I dusted off my silk screen to make something for my sisters birthday. Do you have a go to craft to get your fix or is there something you have always wanted to try? @ Sydney, Australia
