18.01.2022 So last night I was called by a friend saying the costume her son had chosen to wear to book week was not allowed to be worn. So with no time to get anything she asked if I had anything he could wear. Well of course I did. This then made me think that I could start hiring out my costumes for book week. 18.01.2022 With the excitement of formal season around us for the past few months Max asked me if I could make him something for his formal. How could I not as I have made everyone else formal outfits. So we decided that a button up shirt was the best thing to make. Max loves birds so I suggested if he was brave enough maybe we could do a shirt with bird on it. His response was why would I not be brave enough. I love that he is who he is and isn't influenced by anyone around him. I love this kid so much. So here Max is in his new mum made shirt for his formal.

16.01.2022 For many years my mum would make me a Christmas cross stitch. They ended up just being packed away. I found them recently and though there was to many memories to be put back away so I decided to make a cushion to display them all. In the back of one of the cross stitches mum had written a poem so I cut it out with my silhouette machine and pressed it onto the cushion. Such a great memory this will be for me. #madebymiss #memorycushion

09.01.2022 This is Jack. Jack came to me with his head tearing away from his body and a big hole/tear around his crotch area. He is a muched loved doll from his family so lots of care was to be taken to mend him. I ended up having to take him apart and reinforce the fabric before sewing him back together and mending the holes. Then I had to mend his clothes. I wish that I had taken a before photo but I'm really happy with how he turned out. Jack's owners also loved the results. He can ...now be loved by his little owner for many more years to come. #dollmending #madebymiss See more

05.01.2022 Today I had the pleasure of completing these 2 memory cushions for a lovely family that I just met. I was provided with a nightie and special words written by the owner of the nightie. I made the nightie into 2 cushions and used to words to give the recipients a very special message. I love being able to make these very special pieces for others to treasure forever. 04.01.2022 Last night was one of my best friends 40th birthday. She is from Ireland so she doesn't get to see her family very often. I decided to made her a quilt with her family on it. This way she can wrap her family around her every night. Thanks to her family for sending me photos and messages to put on the quilt. #madebymiss #memoryquilts

02.01.2022 End of year teachers gifts from my kids whole class. My kids have been very lucky to have such amazing teachers that get each and every student in their classes. So I got each child to draw a picture for their teacher and I (well my mother inlaw) put them into a quilt. Max gave his teacher her quilt at his formal last night. When we asked what vfb the highlight of his night was and his response was his class getting up together and giving her the quilt.
