25.01.2022 The baby shower cake I was most excited to make last year, for two of my oldest and dearest friends - and the precious little man everyone had been waiting for! Much love <3

21.01.2022 Playing with macarons, also for my sister's bridal shower. Yes.. some were slightly over cooked but practise makes perfect! Finally think I've sorted the temps/timing out now. Filled with raspberry, coconut and lemon buttercream :)

21.01.2022 Hello hello kind folk! Just a quick post to those of you waiting on quotes and responses from me. This past weekend was the last of a few really busy weeks for me, but now I have some spare time I will be sure to get back to you all over the next few days. Thanks for your patience and I'll be sure to get some photos up from the last few months in coming weeks too! ... I'll also soon be putting up a post regarding any new orders for 2017, so keep an eye out for that one if you've been considering something for next year. Amanda x

19.01.2022 Red velvet cake filled with freeze-dried raspberry swiss meringue buttercream, and topped edible flowers for a fun bit of colour <3

18.01.2022 Going back 6+ months ago now (whoops, where did that time go?) - a simple cake request from a lovely young lady who knew exactly what she wanted! Even got the instructions on paper so I couldn't go wrong! :) x

17.01.2022 A sweet little lady bug baby shower cake for an adorable little lady bug (that I can't believe I still haven't met yet!) <3

17.01.2022 Probably my favourite kidlets cake for last year - who doesn't love Spongebob! :D

16.01.2022 Chocolate drippy dream was made for my brother in law's 30th birthday and I have to say, there was quite a lot more scoffed up than I expected after we'd all stuffed our faces with a massive lunch! Converted my usual chocolate mud into a rum 'n' raisin mud and I have to say, that's a personal favourite now! Filled with a combination of rum 'n' raisin ganache, white chocolate ganache and milk chocolate ganache. Yum.

14.01.2022 More playing with #edibleartpaint by Sweet Sticks with this Thomas cake for a super cool little kid x

14.01.2022 .. and some sweet thank yous for the guests :)

13.01.2022 THIS CAKE. I love.. so much. Agh! I could happily spend the rest of my days never touching fondant again, and just surrounding myself with drippy messy sticky sweet candy covered goodness in the form of these Katherine Sabbath inspired goodies. I squeal a little inside whenever someone asks for one. Happy double whammy birthday to Elle and Liv, you beautiful gals xx

12.01.2022 A wedding cake from November, for one of my sister's dear friends. Pretty in pink <3 Flowers supplied by Cabbages Flower Shop

11.01.2022 For my baby sister and newest brother-in-law <3 Most adorable wedding ever...! I'm bad enough at getting photos as it is, but took literally none this day! But thanks to the wonderful Clint & Bethanie I can show you this one :) Florals added and arranged by the lovely Bianca Burrows x Edit: Failed to mention that the gorgeous topper is from Glistening Occasions

08.01.2022 A little nostalgia for my fellow 80's children out there! Possibly my favourite cake for 2016. I was SO excited when asked to make this for my favourite customer's birthday! Ok I know, it's rude to have favourites... but along with her kidlets they're my most regular customer and always ask for really cool cakes! Then set me free to run with whatever I feel. And, um, Rainbow Brite!! Still some serious excitement inside. Anyway.. I'd been waiting for a chance to try my new #edibleartpaint by Sweet Sticks, and loved them! Although I discovered I'm a really ridiculously slow painter.. so more practice needed there, but alas happy with the result and more importantly Danielle was stoked - mission accomplished!

06.01.2022 More thank you biscuits! This time for my baby sister's bridal shower. Had a play with some watercolour this time - much brighter than I intended but pink is always fun x

06.01.2022 I do so love fresh flowers on a cake - this one for a beloved mother on her 60th birthday.

05.01.2022 **IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR FUTURE ORDERS** Hi everyone! I'm sorry it's been so long since my last post.. last year was the year I intended to get organised but alas it did not happen. I still have a good 6+ months worth of cakes pics to upload for you, so hang about for those! However, I have decided that I will only be taking a very limited number of orders for the remainder of this year, or next (or any thereafter). I have an ever growing list of other things I need to attend ...to, and unfortunately while I try to keep squeezing orders in (because I hate to say no..), these things just aren't getting done. So, to give a few of you a bit of a last opportunity to arrange yours orders, I have decided that until the end of March I will take enquiries for wedding, baby shower and milestone birthday cakes only. I will also take enquiries for returning customers for other cakes, however please note that from the end of March I will not be taking further orders (unless specifically notified otherwise on this page), and will primarily only be attending to messages from existing customers. So any new messages may not be responded to - but I'll try to remember to set up an automated message so it doesn't look like I've just gone awol :) Also, anyone waiting for responses to me regarding existing orders/enquiries, I am working through these and have not forgotten you. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this, but it's time for me to take a break - I'm sure most of you will understand :) Thanks for all your ongoing support. Don't worry, I will return before you know it! Amanda x

05.01.2022 Olivia's mum and I have a bit of a thing going where she gets cake in exchange for helping me out of sticky situations (and there have been a few). Works well for both of us! Also means I get to make cakes for the CUTEST little button nosed babe with the most impressive head of hair you've ever seen! This one was for her Christening <3

04.01.2022 The Little Mermaid was my absolute favourite movie as a child (before the Lion King anyway). So I was thrilled to make an Ariel for another little girl who loves it just as much now as I did all those years ago :) You can try this one yourself by checking out the tutorial by Ann Reardon :)

03.01.2022 As much as I love hearing feedback of guests enjoying the inside of the cake as much as the outside.. Even moreso I loved hearing about Kat's overwhelm with her surprise 50th birthday cake - the first she'd had in a very, very long time. Many are hesitant to cut their cakes, but I was told that Kat loved her cake so much that no one was allowed to cut it (or have any that night) because she wanted to enjoy looking at it for that little bit longer! The little furballs are her beloved pets <3

01.01.2022 This cake was made for an ex colleague after a very specific request from his mum.. the only thing she wanted for her birthday was a cake exactly the same as her husband had for his 80th the year before. Having also made Hector's cake (photo in comments) I couldn't say no :)
