25.01.2022 WOW Huge sign up by ad sponsors for the 2020 Meekatharra Map & Directory, thank you to all! Just finalising artwork & content, and the new one will be out in late January. If anyone has suggestions for new content, just let me know. One suggestion was to include a note about enrolling to vote when working & living in Meeka on contract etc., which will go in.

Open tomorrow 4:00pm to 6pm (dont forget its trivia night at the Royal at 6:30) AND 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday. 10am to 2pm on Saturdays. Yes we have wonderful Meeka-themed Christmas cards, aborinal artist gift wrap and plenty of great workplace & family gift items.

Also have the awesome countertop electric oven/stove and some other treats for sale. Bargain/bulk price on the ACRYLIC PAINTS (leftovers in 1 and 2L bottles, lots of colours).

18.01.2022 Big News! I will be working full time at the Community Resources Centre (next to the Shire offices) from tomorrow. Made In Meeka will be open WED to FRI 5 to 7 pm and SATURDAYS 10 am to 2pm until Christmas Eve. Out of hours shopping will be available by phoning me (dont text) after 4:30 pm weekdays.

13.01.2022 Made in Meeka is open today until 2:00 pm. I will be open every Saturday now from 10am to 2pm, and you can always try ringing me for out of hours shopping in the late afternoons or on the weekend. Some of my stock is now available at the CRC & Visitor Centre, who get 10% of the sales price. Artists will continue to get their usual commission on all sales of course. Thank you to everyone for buying and supporting local on so many levels!

Which means I have this huge two-shop space with office, storage room, two bathrooms, ghosts and atmosphere. I dont want to run a business as such, but what do I do with this wonderful space? Private wine and book club? Rent it out? If anyone is interested in renting great Main Street shop/office space, feel free to ask. Otherwise maybe just use it as a big lounge room and have wild parties? Someone suggested an S&M club but I dont think I could do it without falling on the floor laughing, plus it would all end up in The Howler. Ideas, people?

Gloria has such a diverse style, always incredibly detailed. This painting starts to move the longer you look at it. Thanks for supporting local art and for helping out at the town festival Estelle!

03.01.2022 Spongebob the Mailbox is just up the road north of Meeka. The rain has brought a big smile to his face! Spongebob also likes to dress up for seasonal occasions, keep an eye out for him when you travel our highway.

Thank you to all our fantastic customers and supporters - you have helped MIM transform into its next life where its now possible to spread our services and local artist products even further.
