22.01.2022 W H O I A M ? For those who don't know me yet, I thought it would be important to tell my story and show the face behind the craft. My name is Morgane. I always been passionate about shoes from my very young age.... When I was a child I would borrow my Mother’s shoes and dress up like a princess. A few years later, during a walk with my family along the Champs Elysées in Paris, I fell in love with a pair of Haute Couture shoes. At that moment I discovered my dream to design and make shoes and one day open my own boutique In 2008, I completed a 2 year apprenticeship and received my diploma in shoemaking at the prestigious craftsmanship school in France ‘Les Compagnons du devoir’. Upon completion of my apprenticeship, I travelled through France for five years working for different shoemaking companies. During this time I worked with some of the best shoemakers in the world where I was able to learn from them and perfect my craftsmanship skills. I also worked for famous luxury brands such as @louboutinworld and @jmwestonofficial giving me the opportunity to develop me artistic and creative skills. In 2012 looking for new adventures, I chose to explore Australia for a year where I discovered a country full of surprises and beautiful culture. I then decided to return to Australia in 2015 where I worked as a cobbler in Melbourne for 4 years. Now with 12 years experience in the shoemaking industry, I decided it was time to make my dream become a reality and created my own Australian shoe brand - @mademoiselle.morgane A big thanks to @romanpace for this gorgeous shoot and to @melbournestudiosau and @lucasdawsonphotography for this amazing collaboration

I am finally very proud to launch my website and my first collection. It has been a very long and difficult journey to arrived here. So many failures and mistakes. Furthermore, creating handmade shoes business in Australia is not a easy process. I can't be enough grateful to have an unconditional support from my family and my friends. But also to be support by amazing people's that helped me and decided to believe on me. Being perfectionist took me almost 1 year to be 100% satisfied of my website. I wanted to bring a nice vision of my shoes world. MademoiselleMorgane is not only a shoes brand but also a story and a dream come true ! De plus, créer une entreprise de chaussures artisanales en Australie n'est pas un processus facile. Je suis tellement reconnaissante d'avoir un soutien inconditionnel de ma famille et de mes amis. Mais aussi d'être soutenue par des personnes incroyables qui m'ont aidée et qui ont décidé de croire en moi. Être perfectionniste m'a pris environ un an pour être satisfaite à 100% de mon site internet. Je voulais apporter une belle vision de mon monde de la chaussure. MademoiselleMorgane n'est pas seulement une marque de chaussures mais aussi une histoire et un rêve devenu réalité!
