24.01.2022 A MESSAGE FROM OUR BOARD // Written by Mandi Ashcroft With the changes that Stage 4 will bring to all of us in Melbourne, we want to say we are with you in this. You are our community. Most of us are probably experiencing a storm of emotions right now and feel uncertain about what the future will hold over the next 6 weeks and beyond. While those concerns and feelings are normal, we would hope that you find some space to express and create with what you are feeling. ... There are no easy answers on how to navigate this but rest assured you are not alone. We are standing with you in the same waters, facing the same storm of emotion and are indeed being called to stay at home and stay safe. We hope that within your homes you can find space to rest, draw, journal and get those many feelings out. Express them in art, connecting to nature, talking with others, cooking or simply allowing yourself to keep it simple. Even if your only goal is to hold onto one thing to be grateful for, hold on tight to the things that enrich your days, give you hope and bring some sense of connectedness. Do not let go off the things that will sustain you creatively, as it will feed your spark until the storm recedes. However, whatever you do, go slowly in the coming days. Please reach out, as we are here together and want to support you and please, please be gentle with yourself. The Made to Create Leadership Team <3
