04.01.2022 Last Thursday I had the absolute privilege and honour of being the guest speaker at the Pink Boots Society Australia AGM. A volunteer run organisation empowering women beer professionals to advance their careers in the beer industry. As I flicked through a magazine on the table, it came to my attention that in a 70 page magazine there were 7 women in total. Just 7. ... Yet there were over 30 women in that room, incredibly capable women. We're talking brewers, publicans, microbiologists, heads of labs, engineers, scientists, marketers and more. And it's our fault. We're now at what I call "the AFLW moment". Where it's up to US to give ourselves the spotlight and drive this movement. So that we can inspire the next generation and grow this wonderful industry (with more women!) I believe we can do it. Using our own personal brands: purpose, consistency, humanity and sharing our stories. To those incredibly women who connected with me on LinkedIn. I'm over the moon that you chose to go on this ride with me and share your stories so we can change our industry. Who knows, maybe you'll also end up on TV soon... Massive props to Craft Instinct for taking this photo. You're the best.

04.01.2022 Spent an amazing Saturday doing some live social with Chef Jerry Mai and Mike from Ocean Eight Vineyard & Winery at Annam. There for a cooking demo that showed us how easy it is to make Vietnamese food at home. All washed down with Pinot Gris - the best pairing for it. If you haven't gotten your hands on Jerry's new book, I highly recommend it.
