24.01.2022 It still somehow feels surreal. This global experience of an unprecedented level of restrictions and regulations which are becoming our "new normal"..... will we ever go back to the "normal" we used to know?? . Despite all of this craziness there are definitely lots of positives interwoven throughout our days. .... Despite losing all of my usual sources of income since March, I feel so much gratitude for the amount of time I now have to do so many more things that make my heart sing. One of them being #xtendbarre workouts! The best thing about @Xtendbarreburleigh going online during these restrictions is that I get to #barrewhereveryouare right in my lounge room EVERY DAY!! 18.01.2022 This morning was PERFECT! In between my 6am and 9:30 am XB classes I put my brave boots on and went for a surf at #burleighpoint for the first time ever! . Burleigh point, in my mind, is scary, crowded, and only for the pros.... this has kept me away from surfing this beautiful point break for years! . I had the wrong board for the small mal waves but paddled out anyways prepared to be happy just to get my hair wet during my little window of time between classes..... . But guess what?! I caught the longest wave I ever have (like EVER) on a short board!! It just kept going and going and going!! Yewww I am so stoked!!! . That one wave alone was enough to make my day ! And I got to do the other thing that I love doing on either side!! What else can I ask for!
