25.01.2022 Maffra Bakery will remain open at this stage. Some slight changes to the way we operate effective from Monday the 23rd of March. To ensure more of our customers have access to our products, there will be purchase limits on our bread and pie products. ... We will not be accepting reusable coffee cups at this time. Where possible we are encouraging customers to pay by tap an go. In order to allow for distance between customers, we can have only 2 people in the shop at one time. 20.01.2022 On Sunday, 18th September, Maffras Gippsland Vehicle Collection is hosting its annual cancer research fundraiser, Tops Off For Cancer, with a display of convertible vehicles and a cycle or walk along the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail from the GVC to Tinamba (about 8kms) between 10am and 2pm. Cost for the Ride/Walk for Cancer is $10 per adult, $5 for kids 15 and under, or $25 for a family of 4. All funds raised from the ride will be split between the Cancer Council Victoria and... the Tinamba CFA, who will provide riders and walkers with a cuppa, slice, and a ride back to the GVC if they want it. Back at the GVC, the Rusty Rockers will be playing and there will be a fantastic display of topless vehicles be they hot rods, soft-tops, sidecars, trikes, bikes or motorbikes, as well as a barbecue and other refreshments for lunch. So get your family and friends, ride, walk, or just enjoy a great exhibition of vehicles, have a great day out and help us support the defeat of cancer. 17.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we share with you that Alan Reynolds passed away 09.07.2018, aged 88. A private funeral will be held on Saturday to commemorate his life. Due to this, we will be closed this coming Saturday 14.07.2018.

16.01.2022 On 6 October 2014, Aussie Boyd was diagnosed with ALLB leukaemia. He commenced treatment at Monash medical centre in Clayton, where he was 2 years into his 3 year plan where it was found that he had relapsed. Auss is currently fighting cancer of the central nervous system with stronger chemotherapy and blood transfusions. In approx 10 weeks Auss will undertake 2 weeks of radiation therapy. On Sunday 9 April Diesel (Brenton Dinsdale) and Muggsy (Nathan Magnuson) will be playin...g continuous golf from Dawn to Dusk aiming to raise money for Auss and his family. We welcome others to join us playing golf all day, or put a team of 4 in for the 9 hole ambrose event starting from 10am. There will also be a bbq lunch available, nearest the pin competition and prizes to be won. Costs to play all-day is $30 per person, and $40 per team of 4 ($10 per person). The Heyfield Golf Club will have the bar open so dont BYO please. For the ambrose event if you are unable to make it for 10am but want to play later on in the day, let us know.
