21.01.2022 Hello all, Thank you for your patience, understanding and support over the past 6 months, with the slight easing of restrictions we will be reopening our venue on Monday the 21st of September. We are only allowed 2 areas of 10 patrons. With limited numbers, bookings will be essential. Our venue will open 6 days a week from 12noon until 9, Monday to Saturday and remain closed on Sundays until numbers are able to increase. Monday to Friday will be lunch and dinner service with Saturdays Dinner only. Dinner will consist of 2 sittings 5.30 and 7.15 allowing us time to clean between the two services. TAB will reopen on Monday. At this stage we have no date for gaming. We look forward to seeing you again soon in the coming weeks.
21.01.2022 DONT FORGET TO PICK UP YOUR GROWLER We have plenty of our 2L growlers for your takeaway kegged beer. $20 for your initial growlers and $20 to fill up any tap beer. ( Balter XPA $25)... Bring it back in over and over again and we can top it up minus the $20 fee for the growler ( Handy hint... Bring it in when purchasing your takeaway meal ) Fresh tasty kegged beer is always nicer Must be a member as per our takeaway licence
21.01.2022 Some people have been asking for some information about our growlers. Here is a quick rundown What Is a Beer Growler? A beer growler is a container or vessel that is used for the transport of beer. It can also be described as an air-tight jug, typically made out of glass, ceramic or stainless steel that allows you to take beer from one place to another without a degradation of quality.... How to Keep Your Growler Clean: Rinse it Quick: Directly after you pour the last of your beer, give it a rinse with hot water. If you can rinse it out pretty quickly after its finished, then thats all you really have to do to get it clean and ready for the next fill. Detergents & Cleansers: If you let the growler sit for awhile before rinsing it out, then youll want to use some sort of cleanser to help get it clean. If you do this, it is wise to not use a fat or oil-based soap. Consider Using a Brush: If its really nasty inside, then it may be best for you to use a brush to give it a good scrub. A carboy brush or baby-bottle brush will do the trick. Let it Air-Dry: Now that youve cleaned out the inside, its best to just let it air dry. While you can refrigerate beer in an unopened growler or squealer for around 1 week, its recommended to drink within the first few days. Once opened, you will want to finish it pretty quickly so the beer doesnt lose its bubbles.
