13.01.2022 Ahhhh the dreaded Coronavirus!! Im not sure whats worse, the virus or the crazy stuff that is coming with it!!! Rest assure whilst the world is going nuts, its business as usual at Maffra Spit Roast Catering!! We are still in wedding season and a pandemic isnt holding us back. Thank you so much to all of our customers not only over Christmas but for the entire year, it has been a pleasure!! To the best staff I could possibly ask for, THANK YOU!!! 11.01.2022 With all the new rules to stop the spread of corona virus our catering opportunities have pretty much vanished! No weddings, no birthday parties, basically no celebrations or social gatherings. It breaks my heart to talk with brides and grooms who have had to cancel all their plans and now consider there options. We know this is the best thing for the country at this stage but the heart ache is real What does this mean for us??? For now all function catering has been put o...n hold. Thank you to those that have rung and rescheduled and not cancelled, this is greatly appreciated xx We are doing some takeaway/ drive thru roast meals on a weekly basis and will try to do this as long as the rules let us. Future bookings and enquires should keep coming. Dont be shy. Whilst it is unknown when things will get back to normal we can prepare for it as best we can. Of course we will deal all issues as the need arises. Functions after this crisis will truely be the very best of celebrations. In this time of hardship we send you all our love, please take the advice of the government and do the very best we can to fight this thing together. 03.01.2022 Sooo as you would be aware the 1st of June is bringing changes for us all, a step back towards some type of normal. Im very excited for all of our hospitality friends that get to open their doors and although the road back is long its exciting to think things are on the move. Unfortunately for us there isnt too much that will change. We dont have a restaurant or cafe, we are mobile and tend to cater for the masses. Our business relies on birthdays, weddings, engagement...s and all the celebrations that are accompanied by lots of people! But we definitely are not people that will sit and wait for the world to change! We will offer what we can until the point where we can get back to all those fabulous celebrations!! Im currently looking at the rules and regulations and considering our options. Very soon Ill post just exactly what we can offer until we get back to our new normal! So stay tuned!! In the meantime I would just like to say a big thank you to each and every single one of you that has supported us during these trying times. We will be forever grateful xx See more
