24.01.2022 Very proud of our scouting kids who took part in the ANZAC day ceremony in Maffra this morning, presenting their hand made, fully recyclable wreath as a tribute to our armed forces. Scouting has strong historical links to the military, particularly World War One, and it was wonderful to see our kids taking part. Thanks to the Gippsland Times for the photo!... Dave Group Leader

09.01.2022 Were at Cambrai Backpackers in Maffra tonight for our Mardi Gras fundraiser the Op Shop Ball! Mr and Mrs Jones are setting up to give us a fantastic night of music! The photo booth is set up to record your night of fun for only $5 per turn.... Come down, have some fun in your best op shop rags! $20, tickets and door prize at the door.

05.01.2022 Hi to all parents, Due to the lack of parent helpers I doubt we will hit our Target of $15000 for the Maffra Mardi Gras or even half of that. As explained the money is greatly needed to make our scout hall safe and comfortable for our children! It will also help reduce some of our fee so we can all afford to keep our children enjoying this wonderful opportunity in the Scout Movement. 05.01.2022 Wow the holidays are going fast! Were back next week, with new programs for the term and some exciting guest leaders to help us out with the Joey program. Theres never been a better time to join the Maffra Scout Group! New kids are always welcome, and we are definitely on the lookout for some new adult leaders - no experience necessary and we only ask for a 12 month commitment! 01.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all from Maffra Scout Group. Cubs and Scouts will recommence in February 2021 as school returns. Thank you to the leaders, youth members and family support for persevering with Scouting on zoom during the year, and all returning to the hall - even with the initial outdoor only restrictions - during this past term. We look forward to welcoming both existing and new members to Scouting in the new year.

01.01.2022 Maffra Floors have done an amazing job on our hardwood hallway and q-store as well as the vinyl flooring in the kitchen. However due to the hot weather we have had it has either delayed progress or unable to dry properly. Unfortunately this week groups have been cancelled but we will be up and running next week. Scouts meet Wednesday 7-9pm starting 13th Cubs meet Tuesday 6.30-8pm starting 12th
