25.01.2022 We're in the last two weeks of term now - already! Come try out Moo Music for $10 a class these last two weeks - that's the cheapest trial price in Mackay. Our private classes are Mixed Moo Monday 9.30am = 10.10am (walking to 5 years) and Baby Moo Monday 10.15am - 10.45am (for newborns to walking). It's a great place to meet other mums dads, grandmas and grandpas, while having fun and connecting with your little one. Walkers are welcome to join our Mixed Moo class at 9.30am. <3 Just park in the big car park and walk through to the Mackay Language School. We're in the carpeted hall downstairs. 24.01.2022 **** IMPORTANT INFORMATION **** I'm grateful to all my customers who have supported Moo Music this term in this trying time. This unprecedented event is affecting most businesses in Mackay, or soon will be. But there is no need to be afraid - because we will get through this together. Next Monday I'm looking at doing our private sessions on the Zoom platform. Anyone who is enrolled or would like to enrol for sessions, please sign up at the www.zoom.us site and personalise y...our details. Then, download the Zoom software on your computer (recommended). If you don't have a computer, a tablet or a phone will do. Please have musical instruments, scarves, bubbles, and dress ups at hand. Let's make it fun for our kids while they're isolated from each other. Your child will be able to see the other children in the group, talk to them if they like, and have a great time. And so will you! I can specialise the class if we have parents with babies to infants / walking, and we can put in some Baby Moo sessions to keep connected to each other in a safe space. I am still in negotiations with head office and other farmers around Australia on what the cost of the platform will be, but it will be at a reduced rate. I also want to extend my support to anyone who is feeling extremely anxious, can't sleep and is scared of what is happening and doesn't have access to a mental health worker. This could be financial, mental, or emotional. Please reach out and get in touch if you need some support in this area. With my other hat, I am involved with spiritual counselling and can help calm you with anxiety. As a sole parent / mum, I know it can be doubly stressful without a partner, or feeling like we're the only responsible person in the family, and everyone is relying on us. Don't be afraid to seek support - you are not in this alone and knowing that is half the battle. Blessings.

As my business was hit hard last term and completely closed down I understand the hardship many families are under - especially as the sole breadwinner in my family. So MMM is offering a reduced price of $13 a class for both Baby Moo and Mixed Moo classes. You can also grab a $20 taster pass (includes two classes) - we also have gift certificates - a great idea to gift your mum and get her to bring little one along. 15.01.2022 This little one has unbelievable midline crossing for his age (crossing the body’s midline with the opposite side of the body). This skill usually comes into effect at around four. Through his mirror neurons, he’s mimicked this video so well that he has a huge advantage for when his fine motor skills come into play. These are the kinds of skills we encourage at Moo Music - we are a music, movement and sensory play session that builds on the relationship between caregiver and child. The younger babies come in and fire their mirror neurons, the easier physical life will be for them as they developmentally mature.
