23.01.2022 We have a busy weekend coming up and we are so excited to also be at the Vegan Markets @ Entertainment Quarter this Sunday the 15th. Visit us whilst we join in with celebrating Sydney Vegan Market 3rd birthday and World Vegan Month! We'll still be running our big hamper raffle and a gold coin donation to win second-hand toys as well as having the opportunity to purchase our Maggies merch including our 2021 Calendar and Christmas tree hangers. 22.01.2022 Hello Friends. Happy New year, we hope you all had a wonderful time with friends and family over the holidays, whilst navigating through the recent restrictions. Most of us at Maggie's will be back from holidays this week and we are so excited for the year to come. Starting off with 'DRESS UP YOUR PET DAY' this Thursday 14th. As perfectly demonstrated here by one of our calendar stars, Pablo, doing his best Gene Kelly impersonation and nailing it! The first Dress Up Y...our Pet Day, held in 2009, was created to promote pet adoption by encouraging people to adopt a pet, then dress them up and share a photo on social media using the hashtag #DressUpYourPetDay. We have therefore adopted this day ourselves and we'd love you all to participate...just for fun! Our Calendar customers should already be ready for it as it's marked up for you already, along with a number of other animal themed holidays. You're welcome Remember, that not every pet enjoys dressing up, and you should never force your pet to wear a costume if it makes them feel uncomfortable. Do it with caution, beware of any hazards and select a costume that is appropriate for the weather. Azzi is a mix of all things purrfect with her cheerful meow, spirited play and floppy cuddles. Azzi came into care as a newborn and has adored her foster humans from day one! 04.01.2022 URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED We are in desperate need of a foster home for our Jolene. Jojo is a 2 year old Kelpie X who suffers from anxiety so is looking for a quiet, patient environment where she can spend most of her time with her foster human.... She gets along with dogs who can match her energy and size, and is up to date with all of her vaccinations. She has recently started medication from a Veterinary Behaviourist to help manage her nerves so needs a home committed to her training and progression.
