25.01.2022 Puppy update!!! As now they have gone from sleeping slugs to eyes open An moving about!! Now the fun begins!!

23.01.2022 Today it was up early an a big drive for little Millie ...as I was going to Woodside in SA I decided to take Millie with me so her new family could met me to pick her up as they live about an hour away.... she was so well behaved with not much howling mostly sleeping for the 5hr drive ...I think her new family Nancy, Brendan an the kids look very happy about taking her home!

22.01.2022 After the exciting news during the week of expectant puppies with Ruby an Jester our week ended on a not so great note.... our Almost 3yo JRT Beaver had a trip to the vets Thursday with xrays that showed a fractured shattered hip which was truely amazing as he was still walking on 4 legs An jumping on the couch ect!!! we have know idea how or why it happened. So he was booked in for FHO Surgery with the orthopedict Surgeon Dr Ricky from Melbourne able to do this at Warrnamboo...l Yesterday.... surgery went well with our own vet Dr Caroline even making the trip down to overseas the procedure. Beaver is now home an resting he will have a pretty intense rehab an recover process to start in a weeks time but should regain almost a full recovery in 6-8mths if we stick to a strict program. Lots of walking an swimming to come over the next few months for our young man.... an he’ll be back to running an playing with the Koolies in know time. See more

20.01.2022 It’s that time of year again.. lamb weaning an shearing!! The girls Ruby, Ginny an Pixie were keen to be back out in the paddock helping me round up the mob ...850 head of sheep all up in this mob!!!

16.01.2022 Well after a long 48hrs of stress, worry and sleepless nights an syringe feeding little pup number 7 every 2hrs who I’ve named ‘Squirt’ he and his brother pup number 8 who I’ve named ‘Milo’ who were both born at the vets some 12hrs after there siblings everyone is happy An well!! I can’t tell you how please I was to see little Squirt drinking from Ruby after showing no interest at all in sucking or wanting to be alive for the first 12hrs but I never gave up hope for him and now he’s thriving with the rest of his sibling Ruby is doing a brilliant job

14.01.2022 Well today our first puppy, who I wanted to find a very special home as he means a lot to me having hand fed him till he was strong enough to suck on his own ....little Squirt left the nest an what a brilliant home he has gone to with Codee Leiblich from Keith in South Australia...together they are going to be the best of mates with Squirt being the number 1 passenger travelling with Codee ..... can’t wait for updates as he grows good luck my special little man

14.01.2022 Our Ruby is getting bigger by the day with less than a week to go till the puppies are due! She’s been inside by the air con during the day to help keep her comfortable... an tonight will move inside to the puppy whelping box ..... exciting times ahead

12.01.2022 For a change of pace I got the girls to push these calves down the hill onto the hay this morning .... I was abit slow to get the camera out so only a small clip!! We haven’t had too many cattle on the property in the past since I’ve been breeding Koolies but after purchasing cows with calves at foot last Oct/Nov an weaning then calves a month ago the girls seem to enjoy the small bit of cattle work every now and then!!

11.01.2022 Puppy update!! Our little ones are 4 weeks old an in the past week have ventured outside during the day and onto soild food which always proves to be a messy time videos in comments!!

10.01.2022 Yesterday morning we said goodbye an good luck to little Waggy who’s gone to live in Mount Martha Victoria with Karin,Scott an Owen..... think it’s safe to say Owen was so excited to finally have a puppy of his own I think these 2 will have so much fun growing up together

09.01.2022 Been abit slack on the posts of late due to being busy with shearing then getting ewes sorted and drenched an we’re now about to start lambing here at Magic Park Koolies! I’ve had afew updates on our kids from Ruby x Jesters litter all are loving life.... I’m very lucky the owners of Benji, Millie, Sid and Ted send me regular updates of how there kids are going which I absolutely love.

06.01.2022 Today we delivered another 2 puppies to meet there new family’s ....the Doohan family from Finley NSW met me in Ballarat to meet an pick up Pippy she’s going to love life on the farm with them an hopefully one day be part of the breeding program with there Kelpies Then later today I met Cal White An his girlfriend Beth also in Ballarat to meet an pick up Sid .... this is the 3rd puppy the white family had bought from us which is a testament to how much they love the Magic Park Koolies! Sid will love growing up with Toohey an Chubbs An going on lots of adventures together.... here’s afew happy snaps an already an update from pippy!!

03.01.2022 Litter Update In the last few weeks I’ve been swamped with people asking if I have any puppies available so thought I’d update you all on our plans! As I only breed 1 litter of puppies every 12-18mths an prefer to have summer/autumn puppies We hope to have another litter around this time next year to the same mating as our past litter Toolalla Ruby x JEM Irish Jester this will more than likely be Rubys last litter as she is 7yo in January 2021 and I don’t want to bre...ed from her as she ages as she is our main working dog an family pet who we treasure dearly. So if you’d like to be put on our waiting list for puppies in 2021 please don’t hesitate to get in contact with me! 02.01.2022 Yesterday our puppies an mumma Ruby had 2 special little visitors..... these little girls were so excited to see the puppies!! Our Ruby loves the attention too!! we don’t have any children ourselves but I make sure our dogs an puppies are well exposed to kids of all ages ... both our breeding bitches from Toolalla Koolies in Ruby an Ginny just love kids a real testament to Richie Hough an his breeding!! Thank you Heather Bawden for bringing your girls for a visit!!

01.01.2022 This morning Beaver has had his last play with the last 3 boys to leave the kennel! Both Beaver an I are now abit sad now as it’s very quite outside an Beev has lost his playmates !!! All puppies have gone to fabulous homes with... Porky who will be called ‘Ted’ has gone to live with the White family who now have there 4th Magic Park Koolie .... they also bought Toohey now 3yr, Chubbs now 2yr and little Sid ... Porkys brother!! Marlow whos now called ‘Arlow’ has gone to liv...e with the White families close friends Nicki an Mike.... so he’ll get to spend lots of time playing with his brothers! And finally Oatis has gone to be a surprise Birthday present for what will be a very excited young boy.... who’s been asking for a puppy for afew years every year for his birthday! This now brings 7 of our Koolies living down on the peninsula the other side of Melbourne! See more

01.01.2022 Today puppies are 6weeks old an it was microchip An 1st vaccination day for our puppies! All got a clean bill of health An were very brave.... although a lot of howling was going on, on the 40mins drive to an from the vets! Everyone was very sleepy after the excitement of meeting everyone at the vets
