23.01.2022 CITYSCAPE SENSATION Designed to accommodate the homeowners busy lifestyle, this unique kitchen boasts various bespoke inclusions. Showcasing a stunning monochrome glass splashback of the city of Melbourne, the space has an abundance of character. The pristine stainless-steel benchtop was custom-made by Bendex Stainless Steel Fabricators and features a dual sink with a sunken wet area, as well as a bespoke wooden chopping board. Black Galaxy natural stone was selected for t...he island bench, which is centrally positioned for optimised functionality. Fitted with additional InnoPlus dividers by Hettich, the large island provides plenty of space for simultaneous entertaining and food preparation. Featuring Sensys soft-close hinges and a Comfort II Pull-Out spice unit, the cabinetry provides everyday convenience. An acrylic high-gloss finish from Tesrol was selected for the two-tone cabinetry doors, which beautifully complement the black powder-coated London handles. The overhead cupboards are fitted with AVENTOS HF lift-up mechanisms from Blum for ease of access, while undermount LOOX LED lighting by Hfele was strategically positioned for optimum illumination. The two-toned cabinetry featuring a Smartstone Statuario Venato stone top leads to a bright an...d airy kitchen that exudes a lived-in feeling and imparts a sense of visual warmth. 04.01.2022 ITS ALL IN THE DETAILS The previous kitchen was L-shaped with a breakfast bar - there was one way in and one way out! It was a difficult design for this growing household, so we were tasked with creating a new, functional space... where multiple members of the family could cook at the same time. Working in conjunction with our friends and partners at Backman Builders, who carried out a full renovation, we revamped the kitchen to create this Period-style kitchen which has now become a treasured and functional family hub. Storage was essential in the redesign so a new laundry, bathrooms, wardrobes, and incorporating a walk-in pantry, made all the difference.
