18.01.2022 Who am I? You Guessed Dressage Rider Steph Spencer from WA. Being born into a horse loving family, I was put on a horse before I could even walk and have never looked back! I love the lifestyle and the challenges that come with owning, caring for and training horses. I hope you enjoy my journey I am sharing with you from my first pony to my current competition horses. I have many people to thank who have supported me and helped me on my journey including my family, friends, clients and previous coach, Vicky Hamilton who introduced me to Mary Hanna, along with my current coach Nadine Merewether. Mary opened so many doors for me and taught me so much in such a short time. Having more GP horses in her stable than we did in the whole of WA was certainly surreal! After spending 2 and a half years based with Mary and competing over east, I made the hard decision to move back home in May 2013 where I set up my own coaching and training business, meeting many amazing people and horses along the way. Now, I am a full time EA Level 1 Dressage coach and have quite a young team of horses, of which I have managed to train Redskin to Grand Prix. It certainly is a big learning journey which I am very grateful to be able to do every day! I access my favourite product Magic Tails here in WA through our Horseland Midland store right on the Swan Valleys doorstep! My absolute favourite Magic Tails every day product has to be the Shine Serum which I use on the horses tails. I only need a tiny amount to detangle and shine and the fragrances is amazing.
