08.01.2022 Appreciation Post. What a fantastic effort by our back room staff, volunteers, junior volunteers, coaches and referees to deliver the Premier Invitational over the last week and a half. Months of preparation went into making the tournament what it was. We had to jump through hoops to comply with our Covid Safe plan and had site visits from Queensland Health. ... Some of our volunteers worked over 80 hours. An amazing effort. We don’t want to embarrass anyone by going through a list of names but you know who you are. We’ve had some fantastic feedback from other clubs and we are very proud of what we have achieved and delivered. You all should be very proud. With out a collective effort by all the tournament wouldn’t have gone half as well as it did. Once again thank you. We’d also like to thank the following: Major Partners: Tourism Events Queensland, Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast, Coastal Dental Care, G:Link Thank you to Cr Bob La Castra for your continued event support and thank you to Club Patron Ros Bates MP for coming along to present some of the team and individual awards, along with the winning team and runner up trophy’s. A big thank you also goes out to GC Print for all of our ground and tournament signage. Our competitions were supported by Hungry Jacks Nerang, Grip Star Socks, Base Compression and Ultra Football. Winners of the competitions will be announced soon. If anyone would like to get involved with the tournament next year please let us know.

06.01.2022 Our Girls are back in action and have a busy weekend with games on Friday, Saturday and Monday. Well done to all our girls teams who were in action on Monday and Tuesday. Our U16’s finished runners up in the Premier Invitational on Tuesday losing on penalties. The U14’s also finished runners up, sadly also losing on penalties. 05.01.2022 Peter Fenton Vice President Magic United On behalf of the committee of Magic United FC (Magic) we're delighted to announce we have obtained a QPL 2 Senior Mens Licence for the 2021 season as announced by Football Queensland. This means our Senior Men's team and Under 23's will now play in this new League which sits above the local zones, in our instance Football Gold Coast.... This will be a fantastic challenge for our seniors and it will also give our juniors at Magic the opportunity to strive to play in a Queensland state competition. Our ambition will be like other clubs who have also been granted QPL status to achieve promotion to QPL 1. Promotion would extend our footprint and open this pathway up for Magic to have SAP U9 to U12 and U13 to U18. If the Club were to remain in QPL 2 in 2022 we would also see the inclusion of a U18s team.
