23.01.2022 Well we found about 10 wreath flowers out of Perenjori but I think we are a bit early, when these beauties are fully out they are a mass of blooms with a small green centre. These wreath flowers just grow in disturbed soil, generally along side the road, they cannot be cultivated or planted they just occur and are awesome. We are now in Perth staying in my nephews front yard, lucky it is large enough for our two vehicles. We are going to Mandurah today and will leave Perth tomorrow and head for Kalgoorlie. Looking forward to crossing the Nullabour as it is a great drive, then on to Adelaide to the Australian Machine Quilting Festival, lucky me.

21.01.2022 Yesterday we did heaps of cutting and I managed to make two leaves. Having a great time but everyone in class is feeling very tired.

20.01.2022 The result of my four great days at AQC with Jo Wearing as our Tutor. The quilt display was amazing, gets better every year.

15.01.2022 While driving around the Avenel, Euroa and Violet Town area of Victoria we stopped at Ngambie and I found a lovely gift shop where I found the perfect accessory to my ‘Blush’ quilt, it also happened to be on special so ta da !!!! It is the perfect pink gold - now I just need to quilt my quilt. Best wishes to everyone for a safe, happy excellent New Year 2019.

13.01.2022 Lunch by the Murray River in Murray Bridge on a perfect Tuesday. On my way home now. Thanks for all my lovely birthday wishes from my lovely friends, I had a great day shopping at Amitie with a gift voucher for my birthday. Had a fabulous dinner with my family in Geelong.

13.01.2022 1. Streaky Bay Jetty on a beautiful day. We had a lovely walk around the town and I stopped in a few shops 2. Sunset from our camp tonight looking towards Port Pirie. 3. Head of Bight Whale watching, there were only three whales there but the sea was gorgeous. 4. My favourite scenery, love the colours.\ All going well and our timing is just right too arrive in Adelaide.

12.01.2022 I have been working on this on and off for a while and it is for the camper bed - sad thing is we are away in the camper and I didn’t finish this. It will be for next time!!!!!

07.01.2022 Lots of detail in this city scape quilt made for my son. The first row is early morning, the middle row is midday and the bottom row is night. The city could be anywhere but I call it New York.

07.01.2022 Just had morning tea at this beautiful dry creek bed close to Yunta SA, the trees are huge. It’s quite cold here this morning. Travelling well and getting some crochet done too.

07.01.2022 Beautiful lunch at Fowles Wines on the Hume Highway in Avenel Victoria. Oh and the wine is pretty amazing too. I recommend anyone travelling by pop in for a tasting.

05.01.2022 Enjoying myself at the Australian Machine Quilting Festival in Adelaide for the next three days. Lots to see and do. These photos are a couple of my favourite quilts on display, from all of the quilts that are on display here. Holiday nearly at an end, just a visit to kids in Geelong and then home and back to work. Thanks to my lovely customers who are patiently waiting for their beautiful quilts to come home.

01.01.2022 We have just been to Coalseam Conservation Area and seen the most amazing wild flowers. You can stand in the middle of them and turn 360 degrees and be surrounded by colour , wonderful.
