25.01.2022 Limited amount of small bale rhodes grass hay now available. $8.80 including gst, in our sheds at Tatham - call 0409631412. It's just about impossible to get any volume into storage at the moment- demand is still outstripping supply.

23.01.2022 Due to the lack of rain we unfortunately have no hay or silage to sell until further notice.

22.01.2022 The first block cut for Walcha is now baled.

22.01.2022 With the long dry continuing in so many parts the hay market is so hot at the moment that we are having trouble getting any into the shed, Before we even get it made it is ordered. Most has been loaded straight out of the paddock.

21.01.2022 We still have hay but it is very limited in variety. Now in the shed we have Paspalum small square bales for $7.70 including GST or mulch quality grass bales $5.50. Every time we find a paddock to bale it is just about sold before we get it made. While we are all glad that cyclone Oma didn't bring the huge flooding rain that was possible everyone would have liked it to bring a bit more than what we got. How much rain did you get? We have had a bit over 20mm in the last few days- more than we have had for months!

15.01.2022 Right now we have NOTHING in the sheds to sell. Today is the first fine day for weeks and with a bit of luck we will get a week or two of sunshine to dry up the puddles. We have a few paddocks to cut and bale as soon as they are dry enough to get a tractor onto.

11.01.2022 With a few fine days in the last week we have been busy with a paddock of lesser quality grass hay. Over 2000 small square bales in the shed for our customers requiring mulch, animal bedding, function seating, rally barricades etc. etc.

11.01.2022 Another load of sugar cane silage loaded & ready to head west to feed hungry cattle in the Tenterfield area.

09.01.2022 We are working our way through various hay and silage jobs while this weather stays dry. Still not having any luck getting spare bales stored in the shed- demand continues to be so high that most bales are sold direct from the paddock. 06.01.2022 What an amazing day traveling with the last load of 40 bales for struggling farmers in Walcha NSW. From my office organizing this hay run was a great feeling bu...t to actually be in Walcha tonight meeting these farmers is the most incredible experience I have ever had. To Chris Chapman, George Spring and all the other people that helped. We will be forever grateful. The Ballina community should be very proud and I’m here on the ground to tell Ballina these farmers were desperate for our help and the $40,000.00 raised was very well spent here. 05.01.2022 Great feedback today from one of our riding school hay clients, who buys Rhodes grass hay from us. Their vet commented on the great condition of the teeth of their horses. Happy customers = happy hay producers.

01.01.2022 With 6 inches of rain on Saturday everything is green again. Grass is sprouting where there hasn't been any for months and our cattle and sheep are smiling.
