22.01.2022 Our AFL teams are having an amazing day at the AFLQ cup! They’ve all played well an had a heap of fun. Our girls team played really well but lost both games, our boys lost the first but beat Good Shepherd 20-6 to finish the day. Thanks for coaching and taking our awesome teams away, Mr and Mrs Pullen.

22.01.2022 Our field events have run very smoothly... all the students have tried their best at long jump, high jump, shot put and ball games. Thanks Queensland Country Bank for our brand new athletics equipment!

17.01.2022 To combat the heat and humidity this week, our Wellbeing Team put on a surprise ‘hydration station’ for all of the students. We drank grapefruit water after picking the grapefruit from our school Kitchen Garden! Yum!

17.01.2022 Dear Parents/ Carers, Thank you for your continued support of our students. It is great to see them all so happy to be at school and we are certainly grateful that we are managing to maintain the health of our community. We must, however, continue to be vigilant. Many Townsville schools have chosen to not have any whole school events this term. ... Our school decided that we would like to be able to give the students the opportunity to participate in an athletics carnival, and as always in this tricky time, we continue to prioritise the health and wellbeing of our staff and students. Parents and carers will not be able to attend the carnival, as sad and disappointing as this may be for you, it is vital that we continue to maintain our strict guidelines. Please respect our school and our staff by not attending tomorrow, we don’t want to have to spend our day enforcing our CV19 policy, we would prefer to be helping our students have a great experience. Parent and carer attendance may cause the cancellation of the event. It would be a shame to have to cancel, and it also may stop any further events from happening. Thank you for your support.

08.01.2022 This Friday marks the end of Education Week and World Teacher’s Day. World Teacher’s Day is an opportunity to say thanks to all those wonderful, dedicated individuals who value the education and future of our young people. As an educator, it is amazing to be able to work in communities where education and educators are so highly valued and respected. ... My sincere thanks and admiration go to all of the wonderful teachers and teacher-aides at our school who genuinely make a difference in children’s lives on a daily basis. Happy World Teacher’s Day!

07.01.2022 Thanks everyone for your patience. The pool will be opening to the public on Monday 7 December. A timetable will be published, and COVID-19 Guidelines will be adhered to. Thanks also to our qualified volunteers and pool staff who have helped with this process.
