We can assure you that refunds are indeed coming from the ticket platform provider and have been approved however as you can imagine these providers have been inundated with mass refunds all landing in a small window of time. We understand every cent counts for many right now and we are doing all we can. 23.01.2022 MagnetiCon 2020 Update. After very careful consideration we have decided to postpone the 2020 MagnetiCon till 2021. This has not been an easy decision by any means. In fact extremely tough. We understand many of you were very excited to be part of this year’s event and we truly thank you for showing the commitment without you all, the event wouldn’t still exist. It has been entirely a commercial decision as we look to dedicate this year in closing the gap to key communit...y groups and funding channels so that we can ensure this event has true sustainability and also offer everything you expect plus more. Our team have done a lot of work over the past 8 months to put the Con in the direction that matches the feedback we have received and to align and enhance relationships to the event so with this, we feel that further time is required to build the event to where it needs to be and with that, we have made the tough decision to postpone so that we can deliver a product we know all will be proud to be apart of. Our team appreciate all your support and we'll see you all in the very near future.

22.01.2022 Jedi Academy Townsville is excited to announce we are starting sign-ups for Term 2 2020, which will commence on Sunday 4th of October, and goes for 10 weeks at ...the Karmness Centre You don’t have to have any experience with martial arts, or fencing - you don’t even have to be in good shape - you just need a willingness to turn up, learn some moves, and have heaps of fun with many other Starwars fans. Feel free to cosplay or dress casually - whatever makes you comfortable Classes are $20 per person, or $150 for the 10 week term (most popular) Adult classes (ages 16+) are held at 9am, and kids (ages 8+) at 10. Each class goes for 50 minutes. Our returning student class will be at 11am As a student of the Jedi Academy Townsville you will be instructed in Form 1 - Shii Cho - also known as the Way of the Sarlak or Path of Desolation. It is a two-handed style sharing many similarities with katana and kendo. A class usually consists of a kata or drill, known in Starwars circles as dulan, as well as form work - grip, stance, footwork, block / parries, and riposte (counter attacks) - all of this is done in a controlled and safe manner Classes are limited to 10 people due to space and covid restrictions, so book now or send us a message so I can answer any of your questions Hope to see you in class Mtfbwu

22.01.2022 We are heartbroken to hear the news this morning that Jeremy Bulloch, best known for his role as Boba Fett from the original Star Wars trilogy, has passed away. He had a long and happy career over 45 years and was a devoted husband and family man to his wife, kids and grandchildren. We were fortunate to have the best bounty hunter in the galaxy as a guest at Magneticon in 2017. Jeremy delighted many with his warm and friendly nature, and made a huge impression on every fan ...who met him. Jeremy, you will be missed greatly. Rest In Peace
