16.01.2022 Good morning everyone :) As an update to our situation; engineers have identified some safety issues and required work that needs to be carried out in order to make the arcade safe to enter. Once this has occurred, forensic investigators will be in a position where they can enter the building and complete their reports. It is hoped that we will be able to gain access to our salon on or shortly after 3rd October, however this is still just a tentative date. Once we finally ha...ve access we can hopefully commence clean up works and begin the assessment of damage. Once we have access we will also be able to determine the condition of our equipment and stock, and we hope to be able to offer mobile service or home visits, at least while our salon undergoes repair works. 01.01.2022 Thank you so much for all of your supportive messages and phone calls that we have received today. We are so sorry if we havent gotten back to you as yet! The amount of support we have already received from our incredible Camden community has absolutely astounded us; some of our lovely customers spotted us on the street and brought us food, another found us and offered financial support. There have been many offers of assistance with helping us to clean up, Camden Council ha...ve also contacted us offering some support. We have also had offers of employment opportunities for our staff in case they need some temporary work, and another lovely customer offer to share some space inside their hair salon so we could get up and running in at least some small capacity. We have spoken to alot of you in person and on the phone, and have shared some tears with some of you also. We are so very thankful for our beautiful Camden community, and for all of the amazing people who go above and beyond to support those around them. You have no idea how much this means to us <3 Until now we have no idea just how bad the damages are as we are still unable to go inside. It will probably be a sleepless night ahead for us, as we eagerly cross our fingers and hope that we will be allowed inside tomorrow. More news to follow once we find out more ourselves!
