25.01.2022 If you ever wondered whether mineral licks were effective for alpacas this is proof. This female was at our property for a three week period - for the first four days she hit the mineral lick hard. She would dip her lips in the water and then massage the lick with her lips. She kept this up until the lick turned into a foamy mess. #alpaca #alpacawellbeing

We now have a long road ahead ensuring they do not overtake the farm again and the alpacas are helping to control the regrowth by eating the fresh shoots. 13.01.2022 Our first cria this season by Mondo (Morning Star Florimond) out of Streaky Bay Tara. Our first grey cria that we have bred and the added bonus is that it is a female. She has the most striking markings on the ears that resemble butterfly wings. She has now been given the name of Magnolia Rise Indigo Butterfly or "Indi" to her friends.
