23.01.2022 *Register a business for Dine & Discover NSW* The NSW Government has launched Dine & Discover NSW to support local dining, arts and tourism businesses and encourage the community to get out and about. All eligible businesses across NSW can now register for the scheme.

19.01.2022 *New credit reporting regime aimed at better finance access for SMEs* The federal government has passed new laws mandating a comprehensive credit reporting regime that will allow small businesses to have better access to finance. The National Consumer Credit Protection Amendment (Mandatory Credit Reporting and Other Measures) Bill 2019 passed through Parliament on 3 February.

15.01.2022 *The government has announced an extension of the apprenticeship wage subsidy program for another 12 months.* Organisations that engage an apprentice or trainee between 5 October 2020 and 30 September 2021, may be eligible for a subsidy of 50 per cent of wages paid to the new or recommencing apprentice or trainee for a 12-month period from the date of commencement, to a maximum of $7,000 per quarter.

14.01.2022 *NSW small business rebate of $1,500* As part of the COVID recovery program, The Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate can help you with the cost of state and local government fees and charges you’ve incurred since 1 March 2021. Eligible businesses and not-for-profits only need to apply for the rebate once, but can submit multiple claims until the full value of $1500 is reached. ... The rebate can be used to offset eligible costs including licences, council rates and business vehicle registrations. The scheme runs until 30 June 2022. Check eligibility through the link below:
