05.01.2022 This is another piece from Shirley Yoomarri from Mulan. It is titled ‘Ngandalarra’ and shows women digging for bush potatoes. As they dig they make small waterholes (Jila) that become permanent. This is also a women’s dancing place and the women at the bottom of the painting are decorated for dancing.
