22.01.2022 Below is a link to "Beware of Locksmith Scammers" campaign written by the Master Locksmiths of Australia. It's unfortunate that people advertise on Google as a "cheap locksmith" with little or no training on how to pick locks. They don't have a security licence or an ABN number. They quote cheap to get the work then break or damage the lock and pressure you into paying a premium price to replace what they have broken. To be a qualified locksmith you need to complete a 4 year... apprenticeship - same goes for Electricians, Plumbers and Mechanics. Would you trust electrical work to your home to a cheap unqualified electrician? Beware of Locksmith Scammers!

21.01.2022 Here are some photos of a job we recently completed, our client asked for the locks in their new home to be re-keyed and made more secure. We supplied new keys for the deadlocks, supplied a new key in knob lock and removed and filled the holes left by the old mortice lock. The benefit to our customer was that they can use the same key for both locks, the new lock is more secure and once the door is painted you won't be able to see where the old lock was.

17.01.2022 We installed a new Lockwood 001 deadlock to a house to upgrade security on the main entry door after a break in at the property. The new deadlock was installed in place of the old lock to avoid additional holes in the door, we also re-keyed the existing locks in the home to match this key for the convenience of having one key for all doors. The new locks can be deadlocked from the inside by turning the key 360 degrees then pulling the door shut, by deadlocking the lock you a...void thief's being able to break the glass in or around the door and reach through unlocking the door. Once the lock is deadlocked you will then be able to see Red indicator on the internal knob. When you open the door from the external side the lock will automatically go back to the Green mode so you can open the lock from the inside again.
