23.01.2022 Everyone at MOP sends heartfelt best wishes to the Kline family after the death of George, co-founder of our long-standing client Metricon Homes, seen here with his much-loved son Gideon. We mourn with the family and all his many, many friends and colleagues this loss of a hugely kindly individual, brilliant businessman, creative thinker, and abiding friend. Rest in peace, George. #metricon

19.01.2022 Very proud of the team at our client Newland for winning the #UDIAVictoria 2018 Masterplanned Development Award for Warralily. Such an amazing place created through passion, innovation, determination and teamwork!

17.01.2022 Totally chuffed that our animated Christmas card was picked up and shown amongst cards from all over the planet on the Campaign website in London. Some other brilliant ones here to enjoy. Merry Christmas everyone! #campaign #advertising https://www.campaignlive.co.uk//big-campaign-agenc/1521192

17.01.2022 Thought for the Day: Outdoor advertising should always be kept simple. #outdoor #ads #simpleideas Seen on the Internet. If anyone knows which genius came up with this, let us know!

14.01.2022 Very clever, very thought provoking, and spot on. Can be applied to so many situations in the strategy/marketing/advertising field! Adapted from Knoster, T., Villa R., & Thousand, J. (2000). A framework for thinking about systems change. In R. villa & J. Thous.md.(Eds.), Restructuring for effective education: Piecing the puzzle together (pp. 93-128). Baldmore: Paul H. 11.01.2022 We love to showcase our clients' work wherever possible - and what "Wow" factor there is in this amazing project enhanced by GOODWOOD Victorian Ash from Australian Sustainable Hardwoods. Victorian Ash was featured throughout the new Melbourne Parliament office building, having been used for the ceiling battens, waffle style walls, doors and windows. GOODWOOD Victorian ash timber represents Victorian sustainable hardwood at its finest, so it comes at no surprise that it was chosen to feature in this iconic building. #goodwood #vicash @AustralianSustainableHardwood #design

06.01.2022 A Very Merry Christmas from Magnum Opus Partners - we ask: what would Santa look like if he was designed by modern creatives in an ad agency today? Ho, ho, ho! Did you know the image of Santa we know in Australia today was crafted by ad agencies - especially Coca Cola’s team of creative thinkers? He’s not even the same the world over - the traditional British Santa wears green and has a wreath of holly on his head, and in Russia Santa is a demon accompanied by a snow maiden!... In Sweden Santa is a dwarf, in Iceland he’s thirteen naughty elves, and in Holland Sinterklass is a saintly character wearing a bishop’s hat. In Germany, Austria, and the Czech and Slovakian regions, Santa Claus isn’t even male - children are visited by a female Christ Child, who is a benevolent gift-bringer with long curly blonde hair! In Spain and other Hispanic countries, kids welcome Three Wise Men bearing gifts. And it doesn’t even happen on Christmas Day, but on January 6th, the day the Three Wise Men supposedly arrived at the stable. So what would Santa look like if his legend was being created by some groovy lunch, er, we mean bunch, of creatives today? Not a great big rotund guy with a white beard, that’s for sure! What do you think of our idea of how he'd look?

04.01.2022 Great to see Campaign Brief pick up on the fun of this year's MOP Christmas card - thank you, and Merry Christmas! Click the link and join in the fun! http://www.campaignbrief.com//what-santa-might-look-like-i

01.01.2022 Agency Executive Creative Director Mike Allen (seen here on the left) is known to enjoy the occasional round of golf. ("Mike's On A Course" he calls it.) He's got so good that there are rumours he's been called up to the American team for the Presidents' Cup. Apparently it was a special request from his best mate "Woodsy". #NameDrop
