12.01.2022 I had a lot of resistance to the black and white photo challenge that has been going around Instagram over the last few days. The first person who I saw that shared my resistance was @arielarose who posted some beautiful words about #inclusivity and #bodypositivity. Then I started seeing other amazing women in my network like @annaroserichards posting about the story behind the black and white images. Then I saw this post from @seedingsovereignty shared by @iam_veda and this ...one really spoke to me. #empoweringwomen is an issue close to my heart and something we try to build into our work everyday. The fun, the sweet, the sexy, the beautiful feminine which deserves the raising up that only women who banding together, supporting each other can achieve. Women (and men for that matter) should be free to show their feminine qualities without fear of persecution or at risk of violence. There is huge imbalance in the world where we (by we I mean everyone) don’t prioritise the feminine nature of the world. The only way to do this is to educate, petition, raise awareness around the issues... and stand together not in gender as humans who don’t support one person being killed for being a woman and excercising her rights as a woman. I’m horrified to learn that such a thing exists and disappointed that I wasn’t educated to know that it still happens.

09.01.2022 JobKeeper 2.0 Update A quick summary of the changes announced today by the PM Scott Morrison. > From 28 September the JobKeeper Payment is changing... > The turnover test will be re-applied > Businesses will need to show a loss in turnover during the last 6 months > The payment will be reduced to $1200 per fortnight for those who work more than 20 hours per week > There will be a lower tier payment of $750 per fortnight for those working less than 20 hours per week > From 4 January 2021 to 28 March 2021, the payments will reduced again to $1,000 for the full rate and $650 for the lower tier We’ll follow up with more info soon!
