16.01.2022 Magpies Cricket Club are saddened to hear of the passing of Life Member, Dale Dixon. Dale has been a Life Member since the late 1980’s. Cricket was a major part of Dale’s life, he played for the club, with several brothers and went on to umpire for a number of years. The service of men & women like Dale are why we have the club we have today. He always enjoyed catching up at club social functions and sharing his memories. With Magpies TOP OF THE LADDER after fixture rounds and going straight through to the Grand Final have finished Highest Placed Team on the Ladder and awarded the 2019/2020 A GRADE Premiership. 07.01.2022 With sadness in our Hearts, we advise that Carol Hodge from our Magpies Sporting Club Family has lost her battle with Cancer. Carol was a very Special Lady and our Extra Special VIP guest at every Presentation Celebration. Carol had a passion for supporting sport, especially kids in sport and has proudly presented many trophies to our Junior and Senior Players over the years. She will be sadly missed by her Magpies Cricket Family. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to her family, friends and her Magpies Sporting Club Family.

Toyota’s commitment to build a stronger community together with our local cricket clubs through supporting the growing participation of women in cricket is a great initiative.
