11.01.2022 Thirty ancient wooden coffins have been uncovered in Egypt and yes, they include mummies. The perfectly preserved remains were displayed in front of Hatshepsut... Temple at Valley of the Kings in Luxor, and belong to men, women and two children. "Anything from Egypt is always exciting, but this is probably one of the most exciting discoveries that I've seen out of Egypt in quite a while. So to find such a large number of coffins intact, in situ, has not been discovered in Egypt since the late nineteenth century." - Dr Karin Sowada, Department of Ancient History at Macquarie University www.7NEWS.com.au #TheLatest #7NEWS
