25.01.2022 This is Rishikesh and we are back here in October again .. That will be a tour/pilgrimage, Rishikesh, Varanasi and Vrindavan .. still a few places left if you want to join us .. Natalie Snooke will be leading yoga and meditation classes ..15 days with all the best hotels , Rishikeshand Varanasi hotels have Ganges view balconies , internal flights to Rishikesh and Varanasi so we get around quicker , off the busy roads .. 19.01.2022 Our hotel in Varanasi on the Ganges is located here at Assi Ghat , last photo view from balcony ...,,The furthest south of the main ghats and one of the biggest, Assi Ghat is particularly important as the River Assi meets the Ganges near here and pilgrims come to worship a Shiva lingam (phallic image of Shiva) beneath a peepul tree. Evenings are particularly lively, as the ghat’s vast concreted area fills up with hawkers and entertainers during a small fire ceremony. It also features music and yoga at sunrise. It’s a popular starting point for boat trips. Come join us in October , Rishikesh, Varanasi and Vrindavan...
