09.01.2022 Canvas 1/5. This customer requested a statement piece for the entrance of their home. To also represent her & her husbands links to Tangaroa (The Ocean) as they are both from the Te Rarawa area & being from NZ. I have incorporated Ocean colours & the Manaia to represent protection for their whanau & any whnau/friends visiting their whare (house) who is also holding a NZ icon, the Fern . Cant wait to see what the other four canvases will look like .... Keep your karu peeled whnau!

LOVE watching cultures come together . Haere mai whnau if you’re in the area. Plenty stalls, kai & music to keep the day pumping. A nice cloudy 28 today too!!
