For any bookings, or to check for classes and events that are available to join at the Mahogany Creek Hall or Tennis Courts, please visit our website at: mahoganycreek.org.au. ... Please note: Tennis bookings will be unavailable from 10/1/2020 until the 30/1/2020 due to resurfacing works. Our tired green courts will shortly become sparkling new blue ones. We also have brand new LED lights for night tennis. Hall bookings unavailable for Sunday 12/1/2020 from 9am - 1 pm. All other available times are up to date on website. 19.01.2022 Calling all Mahogany Creek residents and beyond !! As most of you know, There has been some dramatic changes at Mahogany Creek Tennis club in the last few weeks. With the opening of our courts looming. We are in need of helpers for a Busy bee painting/gardening and a General tidy up of our hub. If you could spare some time on Sunday the 2nd from 9am it would be dramatically appreciated!! 14.01.2022 The decision to band together and save our hall and tennis courts was one that was not taken lightly. From a single meeting two and a half years ago to where we are today is the result of people unselfishly volunteering hour upon hour of their spare time. The meetings. The paperwork (huge). ... The planning. The funding. The physical work. It's an endless list. We are very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to take control of our local assets and improve them. There is still much to do. We are proud of what we've achieved so far. Hopefully you are too. So it is very frustrating when we discover our hard work is at risk from vandalism and break ins by locals. The tennis club rooms were broken into late last year. And now for a second time we've found people on the roof of the hall. We don't know their intentions but we assume it wasn't to help out. Yes it happens everywhere, unfortunately we have to expect it from time to time. What's different in this situation is we have names and photos. We know who you are. So do the police. Please, respect our hard work. We saved this place so you have local facilities to use, not trash. Please share this post.

08.01.2022 Congratulations to the Mahogany Creek Tennis Club on the official opening of their freshly resurfaced tennis courts. This is a great outcome for the Mahogany C...reek community and I commend the Mahogany Creek Tennis Club committee for their tireless work in advocating for the club. This project was supported by a $45,850 investment by the Morrison Government.

07.01.2022 Mahogany Creek Progress Association have been lucky enough to secure a Bunnings sausage sizzle for Sunday the 9th of August. We are putting together a roster, so if you're over the age of 18 and are willing to help out on the day, please pm the page and we will be in contact. Interruption to our usual activities due to Covid 19 and renovations have meant our finances are a little stretched so this is a very important booster for us.

President Role: chair monthly meetings, assist committee with Grants and Fundraising. Vice President Role : Chair monthly meetings if President is unavailable, assist other committee members with roles when needed. Treasurer Role: attend monthly meetings, have experience with invoicing and monthly accounts. Able to balance the books yearly ready for auditing Secretary Role: monthly meetings ,organizing agendas,minutes and official correspondence Bookings officer Role: monthly meetings ,taking bookings via phone and internet ( phone supplied) and distribution of keys. Grants officer Role: Apply and oversee Grants. Fundraising officer Role: Organize and facilitate two fundraising events yearly. Website design and social media officer Role: monthly meetings , updating our current website and social media accounts Community liaison Role: attend monthly meeting at local rate payers meetings and Shire meetings to represent Mahogany Creek progress association.
